Maybe that's true for a story driven single player game but not for a racing game. I put over 300 hours into Forza 3 online but never 100% completed the single player portion. A racing game is about competition, no racing game provides me with A.I. good enough to replace humans just like no fps games A.I. can rival playing another human.

You have a great gaming lap top so why not buy BF3 for both systems? I have a gaming pc and 360 and will be buying copies of bf3 for each for the exact reason you describe.
2500k @ 4.6ghz and sli 580s... Not messed up in my opinion! Talking about a 20% drop in frames, somebody that's hitting 40fps average with a gtx 570 would see a 20% drop to 32fps ... I'm not saying I can see much of a difference in the graphics but Ultra is doing something!
Agreed that they haven't added the final level of polish yet but care to explain why I get an average of 80fps on ultra and over 100fps on high if those no difference?

Innovation? Waving your arms around so you can look at a virtual car, don't make me laugh! I'll try out the head tracking when I get the game but if it's as laggy as the videos I'll have that turned off after a minute.
I have nothing but admiration for this team, constantly improving the an amazing game with a relatively small number of employees. The big boys in the industry could learn a few things from them!
If you're just running a single screen at 1080p I'm damn sure you'll be happy with your sli 470s mate, no need for sli 580s yet!
Yup, it says a single 580 will do ultra so I'm guessing sli470s should be fine :)

Forza 3 always had "weekly" hot lap competitions with in game credits and unicorn cars dished out to top times and a random selection... GT5s seasonal events are pretty lame by comparison.
