Actually you already can stream games from your iPad onto your 50" tv and play them whilst sat on a sofa. And pretty soon you'll be able to play Arkham city straight from your iPad with a wireless controller in bed or with the iPad plugged into your TV... check out onlive.

Implied resolution lol! You need a health check buddy!! So with your theory when I play my pc games at 1080p with 3D vision I'm getting twice the resolution that I do at 1080p at 2D? I think a trip to the opticians is in order for you because if your not noticing the difference in resolution on Uncharted you've got serious problems....

I used to have the same problem as you but I'm guessing I'm quite a bit older than you and I'm now lucky enough to have a racing rig set up in another room so I don't get disturbed by my fiancée lol! Sim racing is a hobby that can consume a lot of money in comparison to just playing regular games on a console but for me it's worth it :)
I've been playing the pre-alphas and it's very good, don't worry though cos its coming to Ps3 and 360 too...
Lol, if you spent enough on your pc to run BF3 on ultra then what's another £40 to play skyrim?! I bought two 580s to get over over 60fps on battlefield, I'm sure as hell not moaning about the price of games...
Uncharted 3D confirmed by digital foundry to be 896x504p in game... that's why it looks shit compared to running the game in 2D at 1280x720p
Lol, just realised you don't actually own a 3D tv! Don't disagree with people when you don't have the equipment to test it for yourself.
Try turning it off, you'll be amazed at the lack of jaggies and crispness.
The sacrifice in AA and resolution is just too great for me to play my PS3 games in 3D. Uncharted is such a gorgeous game and whilst the 3D works well I turned it off after chapter 4 and now feel like I'm seeing the true beauty.
I think the next generation of Playstation will offer a much better 3D experience and until then I'll play 3D games on my PC and use my PS3 for 3D blurays.

What I'm gathering from this guy is he probably bought a pc for work that is incapable of running Skyrim as well as his 360, there'd be no shame in him admitting that but he chooses to go on a defensive rant instead!

Errr, okay ... Most people use a pc at work lol. That certainly seems like a strange reason to use for playing an inferior version of a game but each to his own I guess...

Huh? On a PC yes, but we have the best looking GTA with mods anyway so doesn't make any difference! Can't make GTA look any better than it does on the consoles so I don't really understand your comment...

Considering its basically a 360 port this doesn't surprise me. Think we'll be needing more disk space once the modding community start releasing high quality texture packs.
Actually Bethesda admitted their trailers have been a mixture of console and PC.
