If you want to play with friends then pick the platform your friends have, if not get it on PC for the best graphics.... jeez, why can't people apply their own logic to simple decisions!
For games it might be usable but I bought a big 3d tv with 4 sets of glasses so I could watch films socially, the only thing that'll replace my current set up will be a glasses less tv.
I'm maxing it at 5760x1080 with sli gtx580s and a 2500k at 4.6ghz, the game looks lovely, and is obviously well optimised. Good effort for the studios first game!

otherZinc : you silly boy, you mistake me for a GT5 fan! I bought a Fanatec GT2 specifically for Forza 3 which was a great game. I'm just not a fan of fantasy cars included just to try and gain a few extra customers, it's a lame tactic but not wholly unexpected from M$.

You say that like it's a bad thing, upgrading a pc is part of the fun! I'm good for BF3 now but I look forward to the day I need to throw some more cash at my gaming rig, very satisfying seeing your games improve dramatically, console only players have to endure 5+ years of staring at the same level of graphics, doesn't appeal to me.
It's not so much about celebrities voicing characters as it as decent actors. Uncharted's cast aren't celebrities but they do a stellar job of making the characters more believable with good acting. I find the voice acting in gears pretty poor but then script comes into play with these things too.
I don't play fps's but I'm intelligent enough to realise that describing BF and COD as mediocre franchises is bordering on moronic.
I wish Fanatec would hurry up and let us pre-order this beast, can't wait to get my hands on it...
Without force feedback you may as well save for a fanatec or stick with a pad imo.

This is basically the next step up from MS's wireless wheel, anyone looking for a decent wheel experience will pick up one of the Fanatecs when they release with a set of clubsports.
Yeah, I know! What I love about it is that once you're settled into a championship you're better off just doing a few races per week and spending most of your time practicing. The irating and safety ratings work brilliantly and would love to see something like that incorporated into forza, would put an end to the bumper car sessions online if driving bans came into place. Whilst I'll love Forza 4 I've recently spent 90% of my racing on iracing, are you on it Brutal? The FF from my Fanatecs is fantastic, feel every tiny bump in the track!
I mount my wheels to a gamepod GT2, did try a rennsport stand first but this is the business, i bought the frame only from gamepod and im using a competition Corbeau bucket seat with it! How about you?
