I have nothing but admiration for this team, constantly improving the an amazing game with a relatively small number of employees. The big boys in the industry could learn a few things from them!
If you're just running a single screen at 1080p I'm damn sure you'll be happy with your sli 470s mate, no need for sli 580s yet!

Good luck unlocking that 6950, unless they've had that card sitting on the shelf for the best part of a year it ain't gonna happen.
Crappy online functionality, tedious special events, waste of Top gear license, half arsed late addition of leaderboards ... the reason we were disappointed with GT5 is that most of the new features weren't up to the standards Polyphony set with past releases. GT3 is still my favourite GT, the amount of hours I pumped into that game was ridiculous!
Exactly! GT5 disappointed me hugely with the 3 tedious Top Gear challenges and no Star in a reasonably priced car leaderboard challenge, fingers crossed Forza gets it right...
That's the beauty of TOR though, you can play through the epic story with a.i. companions without even bothering with other players online! I've ordered the standard edition, hoping the early access comes next month...
How many of those do you think are tied up with The Old Republic though?

The Old Republic on PC will give me my Kotor fix, never know, if it does well enough it could end up on consoles...
Same here mate, I downloaded it on release but never started playing due to other games taking up my time. Since then I've added a second gtx580 and I'm now eagerly awaiting 2.0 so I can jump in at last!!
I get your point but there's no way a quarter of people will report bugs, more like 5% with an open beta.
Such different games though, I'll be buying both for sure.
What's sad about using a beta to decide if I want to buy the game or not? If there's no official demo at least I can make my mind up about the game by playing the beta.
And before you start on about how beta users should be reporting bugs/glitches until a developer pays me to test a game for them I'll gladly leave that to the geeks with too much time on their hands and carry on having fun in betas.

The graphics were so crap in gears 3 with 3D turned on I doubt it's gonna pull off Crysis too well but we'll see...
Innovation? Waving your arms around so you can look at a virtual car, don't make me laugh! I'll try out the head tracking when I get the game but if it's as laggy as the videos I'll have that turned off after a minute.
