Right on! Same day, my local GameStop sold 153!
<fist bump>
<roll eyes>
"Listen homeboy the only people commenting on this thread are PS fanboys."
ThePope = stealth PS fanboy confirmed.
@BattleAxe: Personally, I'd put it at even less than that, but I figured I'd just use sales numbers to be generous and avoid dispute. ;-)
<85million is "most living rooms in the US/UK?"
@CapsLocke: Looks like someone doesn't understand how "channels" work.
No, they went to EA and were hoping for a 1-year exclusivity on Xbox (which was supposedly the original EA/MS contract), so they could focus on developing for one platform at a time, and then MS moneyhatted full exclusivity before EA could see how badly the PS4 would outsell the Xbox. Respawn was looking to do a PS4 version.
I can't believe people are still hyping that Cloud crap (300,000 servers... As if they're all dedicated to one game, or even all dedicated to onl...
@Germrod: Thing is, you don't really need a "rig" to run it on PC. The only thing remotely taxing in its system requirements is the 64-bit OS.
@georgenoob: If someone bought a PC three years ago that came with Windows, how is buying Titanfall on PC "supporting Microsoft?"
Be interesting to see if anyone gets it running decently via Linux/WINE as well.
@loulou: Oh my word... we've got someone using Misterxmedia as a "source" for... something.
The same Misterxmedia that still claims Ekim is a NeoGAF mod. Which... um... he's not.
But hey... an anonymous commenter on his blog says that his friend that works at Ubisoft told him that MS will unlock the full 128MB of eSRAM in July, which Misterx is now running with as "confirmed" by a "UbiSoft source."
Don...
Same here. I haven't bought a PS3 game since TLoU. Playing Kingdoms of Amalur, DmC, and Metro right now. Now I'm just waiting for the Vita 2000 to drop in the US to put that PS+ Vita backlog to work.
Really hope US PS+ gets Dead Nation. Played the hell out of it on PS3, and would be happy to do so again.
After the January NPD numbers, EA is probably "trying hard" to find loopholes in that exclusivity contract and get it on PS4. Thuway just misheard the rumor. ;-)
And you know what? I bet there will be articles/threads in which you can just comment about those games if you so desire.
2-to-1 is "keeping up?"
They're trying to avoid that 720p stigma. Hopefully they can at least pull it up to 900p.
I hope they don't take too long for an un-bundled version, or hopefully they'll show up on Amazon or eBay sans BL2 for $170-180. I've already played BL2 inside out.
"I can’t help but wonder, 'If the issues with the Xbox One were the issues of the PlayStation 4, would the gaming community treat Sony the same'?"
If ifs and buts were candy and nuts, we'd all have a merry Christmas.
I think the answer is pretty clear, considering how much flak Sony caught during the last gen.
Meh... I think it's hard to argue that a horde mode wouldn't be welcome. Wouldn't require the development manpower of full blown competitive MP. Just a handful of basic maps and basic wave mechanics and you're good to go... doesn't require nearly as much effort in balancing maps and weapons/abilities as competitive MP, and adds some mindless creature-blasting replayability.
UC2 (or was it 3) had good online trophies. It was something like a trophy each for playing a game of each online mode. Just something to encourage people to give the MP a shot.
TLoU's MP trophies were okay too, though harder than the UC MP trophies. Nothing crazy unobtainable, just got you to put some time into the MP. Got me to put in my 12 weeks on each faction, but it of course helped that the MP was really fun anyway.
But yeah... F Insomniac and thei...
Waiting for the update that allows "backwards compatibility" by connecting your PS3 to the PS4 via GB ethernet to "Remote Play" your PS3 through your PS4.
(not holding my breath)
"Fortunately, we have a product for people who [don't want to shell out $500 to play TitanFall], it's called Xbox 360."
