XWON = "Zwon"

It certainly does have some great TV-centric capabilities: http://www.comcast.com/X1

Not only did they not have the foresight to predict the nickname, they can't even use the less derogatory "X1" abbreviation in any advertising material or official capacity. Hell, even offhanded casual mention of "X1" by MS employees could open them up to a trademark infringement case. Whoopsy doodle.

And your post was a "reply" to miyamoto in what way exactly? Oh, it wasn't. It was just riding coattails on the first post. Lame.

Wait wait wait... this isn't the Encyclopedia Britanica website? People are actually posting *opinions* here? Shucks, my browser must have mistakenly redirected.

I'm not sure about War Thunder, but there's a Blacklight promo on the Store that says the 15th.

Gotta back up this comment... I've already got my preorder in, but everyone should be striving hard for 1080p/60fps. The current gen was hyped as the HD gen, and few games were able to demonstrate a full HD experience.

Don't know if I'd want it to be policy, because some devs are simply going to be willing to sacrifice pixels and frames for creative reasons, but I'll be disappointed if they're not able to keep *everything* locked at 720p/30fps+ at the *ver...

"So do you forgive Sony for overpricing the ps3 for $600? Even though there were a bunch of gamers WHO DIDNT WANT BLU RAY. But Sony forced it on us instead? But don't you see how it paid off? Blu ray is one of the most popular disc formats now."

I don't need to forgive Sony... I didn't buy their product until it was $399.

And I gotta love the subtle implication that Kinect will be as big as BluRay.

@Mic: "Immovable hate"... hyperbole much? In my case, it doesn't really extend beyond distrust and dislike, but your melodramatics I suppose should be accepted given the maturity level in question.

And BTW... even *my* kids are familiar with the old "fool me once" adage.

To be fair... those pics really don't prove anything.

The first pic is just printed packaging. Not even folded and prepped for product. Those could have been printed months ago when the product exterior design was finalized.

In the second pic, the labels aren't legible. They could be pallets of anything.

I won't say that these pics are "faked" in any way, at the same time there's nothing inherent to them to prove the...

"I am very much looking forward to the next few months (and beyond) as the truth comes out."

As a PS4 preorderer, I'm looking forward to it too, Hyrbie. It's gonna be f'ing hilarious, and I don't think you'll be the one laughing.

Real suckers and masochists forgive you Microsoft seeing how you backtracked on most of your ridiculous ideas before most of them went into effect.

Ahahaha... adorable.

"The only people nowadays writing bad opinion pieces about XB1 are those that haven't touched either system"

Odd, I don't see the author of this article referencing any of their own experience actually using an Xbone.

Specs are subjective only in the platforms' relation to the others.

PC > PS4 > Xbone > PS3 > 360 > Xbox > PS2

Xbone fans really aren't in a position to disparage others for features unavailable at launch.
