The only reason why I wanted to play TESO, it's because there is no other WRPG at the moment on PS4, but that won't be the case in 6 months. I bet they need the time to figure out how to turn the game into a FTP on console.
If they have cross-buy or at least cheap upgrade, I'll buy it now for PS3.

Yeah... I'm still undecided on the subject. If there were more games for the summer, I would agree completely with you, but for now, TESO seems like a relatively good time killer until fall.

The good thing with VR is that it doesn't necessary needs 100 hours mega productions to be successful. With a level of immersion that high, a very good 3-4 hours experience with environment puzzles, some mystery or mild scaryness will be super impressive. Playing Outlast on VR would cause cardiac arrests, but even Gone Home would be kind a scary (for me) in VR. It's not greed wanting that the game that took you years and millions of dollars to make returns a profit. They are not making them for fun or for the love of the "art". The jobs of all the people you see in the game credits are depending on it.

I think the only big problem is that the AAA games cost more time and money than ever to produce, so the risk is bigger and they need to sell A LOT of copies to make a profit and even is the games are good, they are all battling for the same amount of money in the pocket of gamers.
