im not sure sony would pre-announce bad news... i think they'd try to sweep it under the rug with as little pomp and circumstance as possible.
im sorry, logically, the bow shouldn't be stronger per-shot than the semi-auto rifle... it should be silent and take 3 shots to kill (the same as the semi-auto rifle). its shouldn't have such accuracy... im pretty sure its harder to aim a bow thats pulled all the way back than a rifle.
theres a reason we all stopped using bows in real life...

GOOD LORD!!! that means nearly 1 in every 5 games sold in the UK for the month of august was TLoU:Remastered! thats crazy! theres only 10mil ps4s compared to 182(ish) million other consoles combined...
and its a remaster of a last-gen game...
it cant be simply dismissed because "the ps4 haz no othr gamez!" because it stomped the competition across the ...
...except for all the people playing it just like COD, sprinting everywhere, never wondering why EVERYBODY on the other team always know you're trying to flank them!
people need to learn to play the game properly!
well, it IS shocking that this would be the FIRST game out so far that performed better on X1... also, due to the PS4's hardware being more powerful, if it performs better on X1 it probably just means its poorly optimised for the PS4... which is rubbish because the ps4 has been praised for being so incredibly easy to develop for. Plus its EA, and we all know about THEM... also, the only comparison of the lighting isnt even from identical screens, and this website is less than reputable. ...

i think NFL games are fun, but i've never bought a Madden after the exclusivity contract, and i wish other people would make a stand instead of continually buying it... ONE YEAR of sub-10,000 copies sold, and they might learn a lesson... not saying we'll ever see a NFL 2K game again...
the x1 didn't even sell 2X the sales of the 360... i hope their new countries they're launching in help them out, along with MCC. (although i think MCC will do FAR more than all those countries combined... theres a reason M$ skipped them...)
the ps4 is probably not selling as well as it should this month, due to the destiny bundle coming out the 9th. i expect to see setember through the roof for the ps4. (plus its VGChartz, so shift the ps4 up 5% and the X1 down 5% at least... you know if even VGChartz says Sonys winning, there must be no denying it!)

not bad deals, looks like the x1 owners can get a few titles cheap if they held out till now... but i think most people probably have at least 2 of these by now...
in a year, we'll have to see how far M$ has come! i hope the selection improves, but they seem to have a solid base to build on.
certian devs might do better at certian things, but the hardware is set in stone... ps4 is stronger, end of discussion.

i think what concerns people is M$ going back to their "lets release 4 year old games" strategy for GWG. Reach is pretty awesome, but 4 years in, the only way you haven't played it yet is if you didn't own a 360. no matter how good a game is, people want new content, not something 2 sequels back. its the same reason people would freak out if PS+ offered TLoU for PS+, but nobody would care if Uncharted 1 was on there.

1st - playstation exclusives CANNOT be played on pc...
2nd - lots of M$ games go pc...

while i pretty much agree with your entire post, (especially the moral LOL) the good thing is that PS+ still didn't rip you off, even if you only appreciated 4 games
