Because before xbox 360 people bought the magazines just for the demos. Now with the demos coming on the marketplace for free there is no reason to wait and pay money for it in a magazine. So by keeping exclusive demos some magazines might still sell

These kits were announced by sony to be final kits. All the developers at E3 2005 used the xbox 360 developement kits provided by Microsoft which were 2 Apple G5 that were linked together to show off the games. honestly I don't want the ps3 to fail because having sony there helps motivate Microsoft to motivate itself and constantly strive to outshow the ps3. With the ps3 gone there is no more console war, the xbox 360 and wii will be in every home. I have an xbox 360 and sony better no give up because we need competition, I won't buy the ps3 but I need it there to compare things to and get Microsoft to push the envelope.
