From what I understand Nintendo has developed something similar to Microsoft's XNA that allows them to develop a game with little code. The wii can't really compete with titles released on all platforms since it will obviously be underpowered compared to the other systems but it has alot of exclusives like Pokemon, Mario, Zelda, Red steel which should make wii a great buy.

OMG he's copying Bill Gates. Bill said the exact same thing a year ago. He said that HD-DVD/Blu-ray are going to be the last formats and then everything else will be harddrive based. Everyone though he was crazy and was making excuses about HD-DVD not being in the xbox 360. Well know who seems crazy, Microsoft already provides full arcade games, HD trailers and game demos over xbox live and onto our harddrives. Just wait a few years for our Internet connections to get better and harddrive cos...

You should actually give the 360 a try, it wasn't made only in America, I'm not even from america. It was made from engineers located worldwide. I own the a japanese and a american automobile, if it's good I buy it and the xbox 360 is good so I bought it, no regrets. If the wii is good I will buy it, I personally don't need a ps3 since all it's features in my opinion are offered by the xbox 360 so I have no need for the ps3, which in my opinion is price $200 to high

Hey let me rephrase what you said since some people might take controller literally and think you are talking about the xbox 360 controller. The problem is because of the lack of communication between the gamer and their xbox 360. All those features need to be enabled by the gamer, it won't just boot to dash you have to goto the system blade and enable it. Hey, the update works perfect for me and we all got the same update
Call microsoft, maybe you or someone in your household put in a dusty old disk and it stuck to the lens. You should pop in a disk cleaner into the xbox 360 and give it a try. You know they look like regular DVD but have brushes at the bottom and they clean the lens when you put in the disc, can't hurt you should give it a try.

Most people want to play games and can't afford to drop $1500 on all 3 systems and accessories, if you had the money go ahead and buy everygame. But if you had to limit yourself to a system then the xbox 360 in my opinion is the system to get since it has games from every genre, is the best deal, has a working online model and is already released.
They need to make more xbox 360s, I'm pretty sure they will ramp up production by the summer months.
It either works for all of us or no of us. And mine works perfect except for that beam of light in the halo 3 video. I agree it's mostly the controller not understanding the features, we all got the same update. It is far more stable, mine hasn't frozen yet but everything does once it a while, it doesn't even take long to boot just restart if it happens. This wide spread problem rumor has sony written all over it, they did it with the dreamcast and they all ready tried to do it to the xbox 36...
Online cost way too much money to start up. It cost MS a couple billion to get that up.
What are you taking about there are konami games out for the xbox 360 like Rumble roses and they also have a handful of arcade games. He also said he is going to be working on a new xbox 360 title

Mine is a launch system and it works fine. Sometimes it on for half a day right beside my HDTV and no overheating. Also oblivion runs smoother now, not as much loads.
PGR3 looked really nice in HD, if you gave it a try you would know. Atleast download the demo and give it a shot
