Perfect examples of what i'm talking about. Cathrine is a story based puzzle game with considerably less depth than xenoblade, demon souls is a lonewolf these days because of the other games you mentioned. Even Demon Souls is barely an jrpg. The fact is they can make bigger games with more depth and story with less resources on lower powered consoles. HD failures cost a shitload more money then a ds or wii failure.

Wasn't the last one on ds? are people actually getting worked up about this when it's completely expected? They ported devil survivor to 3ds recently. When the hell will people learn about the what goes into jrpg development and realise that HD gaming is too expensive a media for it. it's why so many were on ps1 and ps2 those were least powerful systems in the market at the time and easier to develop massive rpgs for.

Can't say until E3 chances are if it can run UE4 Nintendo is gonna bring it up at their press conference. That might be why it's not being confirmed. Nintendo tends to keep it's secrets and tell other companies developing for it's system to do the same.

Well if you wanna bring up microsoft. I'd say they are equally if not more innovative than sony too. I mean they personally never made the games but PC gaming on windows has innovated easily as much as sony's whole gaming library. Plus microsoft can be credited with the first effective gamer communication method on consoles.

True that, nintendo has pioneered every significant innovation in console and handheld gaming. (don't forget touch screens). They are even the reason gaming didn't die in the 80's as a fad. Sony pioneered selling proprietary tech by bundling it with their consoles.
Probably nintendo but every year they've won noone believes it and says sony anyway. Like when the 3ds announcement wasn't considered a win but the PSPgo and marcus psp meant sony won. When nintendo announced wii U and a buttload of 3ds games plus free games but sony won because psp vita even though it was att exclusive and 100 bucks more than the price of 3ds.
I expect a repeat this year, Nintendo does an amazing, mindblowing conference. However sony will be declared...

I checked and I canfirm it does seem to be going much faster now. Large images still don't lead and of course no flash... but those pages pop up quick and the page pop up when scrolling has been vastly reduced.
This proves we need new hardware across the board. But shit, there's so many games for 3ds right now. Best portable system since the GBAsp if you ask me.
