The game looks amazing.
Sadly I'm not into sports games. The last sports game I avidly played was the Madden that had Michael Vick on the cover IIRC.

I remember similar comments being made at the beginning of 2009 (think it was on G4) but the rest of the year ended up being pretty weak for 360 software.

I agree raztad. It once got so annoying that I felt like going to the MAG forums, and making one those rage threads that are meant to be blogs. I've never made one but I came pretty close to doing it.
The only other suggestion I would make is changing the position of A on SVER's Sabotage map. When attacking, it takes too long to get there.

I think that some people are finding it hard to call it a "must-buy" because MW2 just came out and BBC2 is nearing release. I do agree that the future potential is absolutely off the charts.
I will say that my boy just called the two Walmarts near him and found out they were sold out of MAG. I'll be buying the game on this Tuesday.
I literally lol'd after reading the title of this article. I really didn't think this game would get such a patch since SEGA already made their money back with sales of the Japanese version.
I think ToyRus might be on the verge of closing. I remember Circuit City having crazy deals like this every time a new title got released back in Winter 2008.

Bottom line is the PS3 outsold 360 and managed to shrink the gap in install-base by MILLIONS.

It's going to be a VERY VERY long wait till the release of Natal. At this point, I think the marketing behind it is the only thing might be able to save the 360 from Sony in 2010.

It's pretty accurate IMO
Without leaders having headsets, defeat may not be far behind, but I have won games where leadership didn't use their headset as much as they should have.
Definitely agree with the closing statement though.
