Glad to see Assassins Creed 2 get that score. I'm pretty optimistic this time around and more anxious to play it, more so than the first game.

I'm not trying to start anything, but the first thing that came to mind after reading your comment was: more quantity at the expense of quality.
Anyway, it'd be better for Turn10 to shift their focus on fixing the issues gamers are having with Forza 3 rather than rushing out DLC.
Halo Reach will not match or even exceed Killzone 2's graphics. It's just not possible because of the 360's hardware.
It would be a total embarrassment if Microsoft put 60 million into a project and still failed to meet Killzone 2's graphical quality. That's why Microsoft hasn't funded such a project. They never will. It's not possible.

Along the way, we might even run into people saying, "Derr, Sony monopolized the gaming industry back then. This gen is different!" However, that wouldn't change the fact that Uncharted and Little Big Planet are stellar new IP's.
I'm just glad that there will be more new IP's too come. Heavy Rain and Mod Nation Racers are in my top 5 most anticipated games of 2010, and one of the reasons is because they're new IP's....

The highlight of the demo was when Kratos threw that spartan off the cliff. I thought I was going to have to save him.
I'm glad Santa Monica Studios is managing to keep that sick, but still sharp, sense of humor, even years after the release of GOW2.

I didn't even know Saints Row 2 had any hype behind it. Great game though.
RE5 did have way too much hype but the game still delivered.
Killzone 2 didn't have much hype, outside of the Playstation fanbase. I wasn't surprised by how that game was treated by fans or skeptics.
Halo 3 was definitely overhyped. By achieving the highest sales record, you'd think the game would rank better than games like Ocarina of Time and Super Mario 64, but it didn't.

Uncharted 2 and Demons Souls provide way more hours of gameplay than Forza & ODST. That's why some people, people like me, aren't in a rush to buy Borderlands.
Plus the Gow collection is just around the corner and I want to see how MW2 & Assassins Creed2 turn out.
As long as it's not an RPG, anything over 14 hours seems like a bit too much.
I remember Uncharted 1 took me about 9 hours and that seemed fine. However, RE4 (love the game to death) took me about 13 hours to complete, and it started to get pretty repetitive towards the very end.
It's kind of odd that so many articles are being written about Forza's livery editor instead of how forza has progressed as racing game.
It all sounds kind of superficial.
The 360 is DEFINITELY a console in decline. Both Sony & Microsoft issued pricecuts in September. And how did the majority of consumers respond? They choose to purchase a ps3 instead of a Wii or 360.
I'm sure Sony having a better software library also contributed to their decision.
