First Fable Legends and now Scalebound. MS has been using these games for years to fluff up their exclusive lineup and in the end they do not even come out. MS exclusive games lineup has been full of vaporware from the begining and now the truth is finally coming out.
I feel sorry for Xbox fans who trusted MS and were looking forward to these games. What is next? Sea of Thieves and Crackdown 3 cancelled too? We haven't seen anything concrete of those games. Sea of Thiev...
Yeah, I have had it a few times. Found a solution online which freed the camera. It was really annoying. However, the most annoying thing for me is that jump/interact button. When you want to jump Noctis starts interacting with random objects. When you want to interact with something willingly, he keeps jumping around it! >_< The second spot for the most annoying thing in the game goes to those bushes and foliage in the wilderness. You cant see what the hell is going on especially in a...
I agree. In fact, I would say the game take barely 15-20 hours to complete which is abysmal by FF standards. In previous FF games story alone takes 30-40 hours. The story is there but it is just so poorly told. Do you know that Prompto's father is in the game?? But they never tell you. How ignis went blind? Where Gladiolus went and how he got another scar? Why Ardyn killed Luna? I mean the motivation/reason for it? When and how Niflheim went to hell? What are all the characters doing afte...
Yeah, I agree. The problem is that they kept scrapping all the work mid-development and starting from scratch repeatedly. They couldnt settle on the story, gamplay, characters, scope or anything else for the game. Everybody who was part of the development wanted the game to be something different and when Tabata came in, he rebooted the game again. This game's development was a mess and it shows in the final game.
That is a very attractive price for a brand new piece of hardware. If it is true then it means it will retail for $250 in the US. I wonder if there are multiple SKUs and if this price is for the lower end SKU or upper end. A $200 and $250 price point would be perfect. However, I think it mostly likely will be $300 and $250.
There were leaks which stated that Tabata was out of time so he released the game in an incomplete but at least playable state. His plan was to complete it later through updates and patches over the next whole year. The story does not makes much sense because there are so little cutscenes and even those scenes make little sense. So many characters are never given any screen time. Prompto's father was the biggest victim of this treatment. I bet many dont even know who Prompto's father ...
That will likely mean that it will sell for $299 in the US. That is quite expensive when you can buy a PS4 and Xbox One for $250 or less which offer a huge number of backlog games as well as upcoming games.
@81BX
Agreed but not many care about Zelda or Nintendo games anymore. LoZ: Skyward Sword sold less than 4 million copies on the Wii with a 100+ million installed base. Nintendo franchises just arent the juggernauts they once were. I know that is a hars...
Lol. Yeah description is wrong and poor. Maybe the author concluded that from PS4 being the top selling console this week. However, that happened because of massive drop in sales for 3DS compared to last week and not because of a boost for PS4. PS4 sales dropped as well but not as much as 3DS which made it the top selling console this week.
They have already sold more than 53 million by the end of December and are selling more than a million each months easily. So they will easily reach 56+ million sold through by end of March. However, Sony targeted "shipping" 60 million by the end of March 2017 so they can ship the units to shops to reach the target. Retailers will pick up the stock since it will sell in a few weeks anyway. Personally, I think they will miss it by less than a million at worst.
I believed that too but now I think it is actually possible to reach 60 million. Keep in mind that their target is shipping 60 million and not selling through 60 million by end of March 2017. They have already sold more than 53 million and there are probably 1.5 million shipped to stores to replenish stock so there are probably around 55 million PS4s shipped already. They will keep shipping around 1.5 million or more each month and by the end of March 2017 will likely reach that shipped targe...
I played the demo and it was really immersive but I was still put off by the first person perspective. However, every other bit of info about the game seems really interesting and intriguing. It seems BOWs and zombies are in the game as well and the Bakers are not the sole antagonists. The story seems interesting as well although similar to Silent Hill.
I think the point is not power but support. If I can play all the third party games that I like on a Nintendo console and they look and run better then I would gladly buy one instead of a Playstation console. Nintendo hardware is often much more durable and first party games are often of very high quality. They just have this quality vibe to them and you know they wont break easily. I feel the same way when I hold my 3DS XL in my hands.
Seriously though I do not think they are going anywhere even if Switch fails. They might try to make a powerhouse home console next time. If they do not want to compete in terms of power then the worst thing that can happen is that they will leave the home console market and focus on handhelds only. Becoming a software developer for other platforms is NOT going to happen because that will kill their handhelds as well.
Nintendo fanboys... always riding their high horse. They believe that they have the best tastes, Nintendo games are the best and most fun, and they have a deep understanding of gaming as a hobby. Everybody else is just shallow and immature, who are too insecure to play cartoony colorful games.
The purpose of buying higher specs is not for bragging as you stated. The purpose is getting better software support and game performance! Nintendo consoles are obviously incapable of...
"Because it sounds like people simply refuse to give it a chance at all."
That is exactly why he says it has failed. People are responding negatively to the product that has been proposed and revealed. They have concerns like multiplat support, performance, battery life, console lifespan, and several other factors. It is up to Nintendo to excite people and generate positive word of mouth. If the product was desirable/attractive then the people would have been exci...
We are not discussing the overall financial condition of any company. We are talking about the success or struggle of two competing products. I dont care about how other divisions of Sony are doing and how much money they are making or losing because I dont buy from them. Playstation is an independent subsidiary from the rest of Sony so it does not matters how the rest are doing. Besides, I only care about Playstation because I am its customer and success for Playstation means more games and ...
As long as people are buying the product at a given price point happily, it is worth that price. If people stop buying it and you are forced to lower it then it is not worth that price. Just like in the case of Xbox One. The console launched at $500 and today you can buy one for just $250. MS is obviously having trouble moving units at a price they want so they had to drop it by half in just 3 years.
As for me being happy about it, you are looking at it wrong. I am not look...
So I need to be an Xbot to be allowed to post?? You talk as if you hold some special rights to post on an Xbox article and anybody else is not allowed to read or post on Xbox articles. I will post wherever I want and express my opinion whenever I want regardless if someone asked or not and if you dont like it then f**k off! You can take your Nazi crap and shove it up your a**.
