Bethesda games are less of an RPG and more of an open world sandbox. If you like playing in the sand by yourself and building whatever you like then you will love them. However, if you want some structure, set of rules and story then you will find them repetitive and boring.
Whaaa? What butthurt? Who's mad? Did you see any exclamation marks and caps in my post. Any signs of anger or aggression? I am perfectly calm. Why so defensive? Maybe you guys need to calm down and stop projecting your own feelings onto others. I just pointed out the facts. If you dont like them then that is not my problem. He made a comment and called out certain people. I replied back and pointed out the facts. Simple.
Sadly, it happens. Not all games can sell millions. It is unrealistic to expect every game to sell millions. Some sell more while some sell less. The thing that matters most for gamers is that those games exist and that they are good games.
WTF are people disagreeing about? You guys dont get what I typed so you just press the disagree button? The whole world does not speaks English and are not obligated to always communicate in English when online. Ignorant and intolerant bigots.
Actually, it is a clickbait. It listed the entirety of Switch lineup for next several years and even unannounced games/franchises like Pokemon to fluff it up. And many of those actually ARE ports like I am Setsuna, Disgaea 5, Skyrim, Shovel Knight, Blazeblue, Rayman Legends, Dark Souls III etc. etc. Moreover, we dont know even how many of those will be releasing in 2017. Even if all supposed 27 games release in the same year, it is still paltry compared to hundreds of games releasing on PS4 a...
Old school? You sound like new school. Old games were always about dying, learning and doing better next time. There were no save points, only continues, and dying meant losing all your progress and playing again. That is how we played Contra, Super Mario, Cadillac and the Dinosaurs, Golden Axe, Metal Slug,Final Fight, Bare Knuckles, and numerous other 8-bit and 16-bit games. These tough and frustrating games are just a throwback to the old times of gaming.
Native 4K on latest AAA games is just not possible on home consoles right now. It is just too demanding. You need a $2,000 PC to do that and console manufacturers cannot possibly launch a console for more than $600 at most. How many would be willing to pay $1,000 or more for a console powerful enough to achieve native 4K on latest games? The answer is VERY FEW especially when few people have 4K TVs right now. That is why console manufacturers have to strike a balance between price and perform...
Wow!! THREE whole games that are not Halo, Gears and Forza! Amazing and massive lineup you have got there! I am sure they will last you guys for the rest of the whole generation...
Consoles always sell out at launch. What is so extraordinary about it? Wii U sold 3 million units at launch but that did not turn out to be success in the long term. They are only launching 2 million units worldwide. No wonder they are getting sold out because stores are getting barely a few hundred units or thousands at best. None of those Switch sold out articles ever mention how many units did the store actually have to sell. Selling 5 units and then putting up the sold out sign does not m...
What else can you expect from MS?? Halo, Gears, Forza! Halo, Gears, Forza! And then some more Halo, Gears, and Forza. The console is basically a Halo, Gears, and Forza box. No wonder they are trailing PS4 by 30 million. People are getting tired of those three games. What happened to Xbox?? Xbox 360 was so awesome and had so many great games!
That is just a Phantom Dust Remaster from the original Xbox that Spencer referred to. Not the full scale AAA Phantom Dust reboot that was cancelled. They are two different projects.
Risky ventures are always scary for investors. After all the management is playing with their money. The author too believes like many others that it would be unwise for Nintendo to try to compete with Sony and Microsoft. That taking risky with new kind of hardware is a better choice in the long term. However, I think they are underestimating Nintendo with that line of thinking. Why is Nintendo supposedly incapable of competing with MS and Sony directly?? Why cant they build a traditional pow...
Even though Xbox One has allegedly sold more than 25 million units by now it is has become increasingly forgettable and irrelevant. It is as if the console does not exists outside of the United States. The lack of high quality and unique exclusive games has really hurt its identity and purpose of existence. There is just no reason to buy an Xbox except for the routine Halo, Gears, and Forza. Everything else either got cancelled or flopped upon release or at best failed to leave a mark on the ...
I disagree. They give out more than a $1,000 worth of free games with PSN and XBL each year. You also get 10% or more extra discount on top of regular sales. How is that not worth $60 for the WHOLE YEAR?? I have gotten several games for free that I wanted to buy and saved a lot of money with PS Plus. As long as I get free games at least worth $60 that I play and enjoy, the service is worth it.
Poor old moldy. He is trying to so hard to find something to troll about. Grasping at straws the poor guy. LOL.
Give it up Moldy; it is over. Xbox One is now Xbox Done. It has no games and Scorpio is one last try before MS exits the home console industry. Give up the hate and come over to the console that has a much older legacy, actual games to play and offers high quality exclusives after exclusives. Lol.
It seems MS mostly cancels RPGs; Fable Legends, Scalebound, Phantom Dust and Stormlands. What have they got against RPGs or anything other than shooters and racers for that matter?
