I am getting Octopath and DQXI. Both games are a must own in my opinion.
HZD2 is a given. The game is pure bliss.
Killzone should only be pursued if they are going to follow the formula behind Killzone 2 or Killzone Mercenaries. If they go any other route, I would rather have a new IP. I loved Killzone, but they seemed to lose sight of where they were headed with the franchise toward the end.

It is up in the air. Final Fantasy XIV is fantastic, and my number one choice. ESO plays a bit different though, so opinion and preference is a factor. They are hands down the best two though, for sure.

They have so much to build off of, the foundation is set. After Last of Us 2, Naughty Dog will surely have a new IP project as well, if Days Gone does good, we could see more of that too. So much potential!

Exactly. They are not comparible as they both have their own business model. Unlike the X1 which had no real place ina household that has a PS4, the Switch and PS4 can co exist following their own model. There is no one or the other in this case.
Seeing how it is getting a stand alone release of 40 bucks if you do not have the season pass, this is shaping up to be an entirely new game with more meaningful content than most 60 dollar games these days.
Have you even played Breath of the Wild? I could go just as long without seeing an enemy in BotW as I could in Witcher 3. The exploration aspect of BotW is top tier and the game has plenty of content that is unique to its playstyle.
It is possible to both games to be acknowledged as the masterpieces they are you know.

Funny thing is, it does notjing to the X(2). If Sony still says no, X(2) will have no one to cross play with. The Switch struggles with current gen multiplats, so next gen is out. At that point Nintendo is no longer a factor in cross play.
So either both the PS5 and MS have it next gen, or no one does. Both already do PC and mobile, so either way MS will have nothing to offer without a another console to cross play with.

Nintendo cannot keep up in terms of power. It barely plays the 3rd party games it gets now, what do you think is going to happen when next gen hits? The Switch will not play next gen PS and XB games, so MS has no one to crossplay with.
Also MS is not coming out with a next gen console before Sony. It would be a PR disaster as they leave the X1X behind only a year or so on the market. Furthermore MS has a shit selection for exclusives, so I do ...

We have enough backstory and lore to push things beyond 2, so ot should not be a problem. I think the issue with 2 was that it is by far the most bland and does not tie in well anywhere, so they just threw it at the end.
