Well next gen the Switch will no longer be a factor as it will not be able to keep up. MS will have no other console to cross play with if Sony still says no, and therefore has no advantage anymore.
What people need to realize is that without a 3rd console that can compete in power, crossplay will become irrelevant outside of PC and mobile (something Sony already does). So all this talk about people jumping to the next box when both new consoles are o equal sales footing...

Does not matter to me anymore. I just opted for Pro version instead. Having hard time justifying 60 bucks for a 20 dollar game on PS4.
I still feel it is a quality port, but its value has dropped in my eyes.

A and AA 3rd party games are just as good as the AAA ones as well...sometimes much better. Maybe a focus on gameplay and writing rather than pushing max visual fidelity is the way to go?

Most gamers that got into gaming did not do it because of the race, gender, or sexual orientation of the protagonist. It has always been about having fun.

One the game runs at a pretty solid 30fps.
Two, games on the PS360 were not as graphically advanced nor did they use the same caliber of special effects. This is why all ports of previous gen games run and look better on Switch. Stop reaching, it is pathetic.
I am heavily debating getting it on my pro, or getting it on my Switch for portability...cannot make up my mind.
With that in mind, if the game can run, why shouldn't it come to Switch? There is no reason for a game not to other than fanboys of other consoles wanting to see the Switch get less 3rd party support than it already is.

I doubt it will do much. They worked with jap devs with the 360, even had some good JRPGs early on, and still did not sell over there. Fact of the matter is however that Japanese gamers want either Playstation or Nintendo.
I do not see much coming from this, as we have even heard this kind of PR with the X1. We all know how that ended.
I would be open to a new story set in the Witcher universe. There is enough lore that the possibilities are endless, even if it is a character we have never even seen before.
