It is more than just "personal opinion". There is no ownership with streaming. With digital download you at least have the game if it gets taken down as long as you don't delete it. Furthermore there is an even greater argument for physical games that I do not even need to get into.
Performance will NEVER be on par with running a game natively as well. No matter how good your connection is, there will always be hic ups due to net traffic and the like. Inp...
I hate the idea of streaming in general.
I played Warframe for a while (will return, ran flawlessly), Splatoon 2, occasionally Fortnite with my son (not a fan of the game), God Eater 3, Damon X Machina, Smash, and Mario Kart are my main ones. I am mostly a single player gamer these days, but every once in a while I get into an online game.
Played Mario Maker 2, half the time it was playable and the other half it was trash when it comes to online. Hopefully it has been fixed by now gonna jump back in to check ...
Why the disagrees. More info on Bayo 3 would be amazing!
There is nothing strong about the concept of game streaming. If you think there is, you are fooling yourself.
I have never had trouble playing my Switch online due to maintenance. In fact, I have seen more downtime on PSN or XBL in my time than I have on Switch (honestly cannot remember a time when I could bot go online on Switch, even if the services are lacking). As for apple arcade, I do not like apple products. Wouldn't know about the controller but having one solid device that you can play in your hands beats having two separate devices in terms of comfort. I just set my phone to hotspot...
Your first point is relevant to all systems. Fortnite is trash no matter what you plah it on.
Your second point fail to acknowledge another version that you can play on the go that isn't on a mobile device, which is actually the worst way to play due to touch controls.
It is F2P and has every feature the other versions have, so Nintendo's shitty online has nothing to do with it.
Troll harder ;)
Thanks for the advice, I will give this a shot!
Having trouble getting my upload speeds on my pro through 5.0 wifi. My upload speeds are 40mb on everything except my PS4, which gets 1 to 5 pending on time of day. This makes remote play outside of my home impossible.
Will buying a long lan cable get my upload speeds up, or could something else be the problem? Can hard wiring it really boost my speeds for upload to over 30? Seems like a big jump for something that works fine on wifi with everything else
Pretty interesting how they did it, and really puts into perspective how little devs who make excuses have even tried when it come to porting bigger current gen games to Switch.
It is not just about lowering the settings, but knowing what to cut while keeping the experience the same. They definitely made the right call by making sure 30 FPS most of the time was top priority, and while the downgrade is noticeable om a TV for sure, they still kept it looking great in handhel...
They were not too bad as far as collection objectives go, but they were def my least fav part. That type of trophy is usually what makes me not want to try for a plat in lesser games TBH.
Easily my GotY 2018. Fantastic experience and one of the few game I felt I HAD to go for platinum.
Having played both back to back, Bayo 2 was the better game.
What future Sony handhelds? Sony already said they are no longer in that market. VITA was not the only thing to die long before Sony acknowledged it.
Out of those two you just said, I am more concerned about themes.
They actually gave an optional update to the controllers that fixed my drift 100%. Probably increased the dead zones a bit. Problem is they want to avoid acknowledging the problem so bad that either...
A. People do not know a potential fix has been patched out since joycon updates are not automated.
B. Switch haters don't know about it either, and continue complaining about something they do not even have (and therefore not know if there was a fix...
They buy it because it is a Hybrid. They use it just as much docked as on the go. I know people who play docked exclusively. In fact, numbers do not lie and the full Switch is currently selling more than the Lite (which would not be the case if people only cared about portability).
Do some research before making claims based on how you think something should be viewed as, rather than what it is actually being sold and viewed as.
You mean like PS4 Pro and X1X?
Just look at the fact Witcher 3 can run on it 🤷♂️
2019 was stellar, are you high?
