If a large movement starts to regulate VGs then he will jump on that bandwagon, so lets all just hope the economy stays terrible so nobody has the gual to complain about games. Is it a coincidence that GTA4 saw little controversy even though it was more realistic and you could drink and drive etc, while GTA3 was such a big deal? No, its a difference in the domestic situation. But don't think Obama is driven by some kind of grander purpose that he will leave VG alone base on principal, if V...
"testosterone-soaked dialogue sloppily plaster over the campaign's heavy-handed morality play. While the plot makes sense this time around, its clumsy mysteries are old hat to anyone moderately well read in science fiction."
the crap story is exactly what got me bored of the first GeOW, and they were supposed to adress that, mission failed I suppose. Now if slaughtering aliens for hours on end with a proficient cover system is enough to satisfy you, by all means... g...
I think its highly over-rated especially when compared to the GBA and how great that was. All these ideas would result in making more of what is the bread and butter of the DS, interesting ideas but uninteresting games, however it wouldnt make the DS any closer to living up to its own overblown reputation.
its a failure... and I don't think its going to see sustained sales either.
they did, actually they jumped the shark a long time ago, with stuff like wii fit and the aditude that the Wii was better than a video games consol and it should receive a place of reversnce in every home like some kind of shrine or alter to Nintendo for being so amazing that they offered us the ability to roughly mimick the actions we can preform on our own accord any day... "look mom I'm playing tennis! I'm doing Yoga!"
-Someone let me know when NMH3 comes out so ...
all the fuss about release dates, maybe for a game like Gears, its important because of all the hype, but for most games shouldn't they just go on sale the day they come into the store? Why not?
... but to answer your question, theres a very simple answer: money. A game like this would apeal to the true hardcore gamer, but many games have tanked before becasue all they were concerned with were the hardcore. The fact is that the "aliens" and "giant fish" are there to expand interest, and if the game was really that intense with the fuel conservation, and turning into a zombie and strait up loosing... I would love game like this but many more casual gamers would ...
Dead Space or LBP or a number of other games and earn trophies while being entertained at the same time... just a thought. Maybe this will finally motivate me to finish this game in the distant future, but even then I'm not gonna waste my time shooting pidgeons when I could be, you know, enjoying myself.
everything you say has nothing to do with the topic at all? You were that kid in elementary school who when people called him fat he would say something like "I'm not fat because your stupid"... wait you probably still are that kid aren't you? Stop the inane rambling about oblivion and PSN or some crazy conspiracy theory regarding devs purposefully crapifing the 360 versions of multiplats (at least thats what I think you were suggesting, since your post was written as if by a 3rd ...
you would know that this is more then a few random devs once in a while. Ubisoft and EA consistantly make more money on PS3 then 360, and rahter than spending your time trolling so you can say stupid things, just look it up this trend goes back months, consistently. Also the minute you start talking about "inferior" and "superior" hardware you reveal yourself as an ignorant jacka** because the fact is that the arcitecture is simply very different (not worse/beter necissa...
Cold shower commence at once! lol
Sony is a huge company... I wish people would stop acting like Playstation = Sony... thats like saying 360 = MS, they aren't like nintendo. Meanwhile anybody paying attention will realize that MS is in fincial trouble too. Why? Becuase of the FINACIAL CRISIS! This is terrible journalism, as is typical from CNET, it doesn't matter who owns CNET, its a giant POS. Has anybody ever found their crap useful? All their "reviews" consit of some fat moron holding item in question and e...
my tag is my name: Sharpshell, add me!
Remember the psone era when there was a game over screen, then it went back to the main menu and you loaded from there, its the use of checkpoints that has really made game over screens obsolete... or at the very least you automatically load your last save nowadays, but I'd love if some modern games would readopt the older stragety, it really added something to the intensity to games like RE.
There are people that are so good at Halo that he has to be a moron to think he is that awesome, oh wait he is a moron! I would love if someone posts the video of him getting pwned, and then can we not have to hear about him ever again, or anybody else who makes videogames look stupid by their assosiation. Its just too bad that I suck at Halo, and that he doesn't have to intellegence to play a game like MGO where I would destroy him. Common' Soulja Boy, your a "superstar" right? ...
One point...
I agree philosophically about score numbers, the fact is that numbers are the strongest catalyst in either building hype or hindering it and games that depend on multiplier depend on momentum built on hype.
Considering how long it takes Gamespot to review a game the fact that this was such a timely review reveals their true intentions: to give SOCOM a bad score, they WILL NOT change the review... unbiased VG journalism FTW!
"Japan/Microsoft Alliance" in relation to these statements its pretty obvious to see why SE is workin to hard to please microsoft.
Already I play the game and I play user created levels and I'm like WOW! Thats a great idea I never would have thought of that! And clearly MM didnt b/c its not in the story mode but after they see what people do with LBP I'm sure they will update the features accordingly.
