Red and green gummy bears! *chuckles*
Give in to hype? He doesn't seem to understand hype! It's like he has a magical anti-hype bubble around him.
Just got my ticket. Can't wait to finally get my hands on LBP!!
Far Cry 2 will beat them all.
Putting LBP behind prototype makes me cry.
You know, Dareaver, I have to say that your comments have relied very heavily on the idea that the PS3 is getting so much praise for bringing out these new features. The only real praise is due to the fact that they're doing it for free. No one is claiming any revolutionary ideas on the PSN front, except home, but that has had mixed reactions. I really don't see why I'd use home at all. Then again, there are a whole load of people who get a kick out of second life etc.
PS3 gamers...
you know, most of us can play it on our PCs. It's a source engine game, so you don't exactly need a 8800GTS.
Did you ever play that port? Clearly not. It was absolutely fine. I'd be happy to have another EA port, though I'd rather another company because I don't like buying any EA games for obvious ethical reasons.
I definitely want a controller for this one. It looks like a game that's about movement, so I don't want to be using a clunky keyboard to move around. So if they don't let me use my 360 controller on the PC version, I'm gonna want it out on PS3.
Frankly, Valve are probably the least likely studio to ever make a PS3 game. They completely lack motivation. Sure, they'll come out with FANTASTIC games, but it will take them years and years and years. For a studio to take on the PS3 it needs to be motivated and enthusiastic. Also it needs structure. At Valve, no one has a set job. They just do whatever the hell they feel like. Yeah, it means they get brilliant, imaginative stuff in their games, but it slows down development to a snail's pa...
You think the PS3 needs to be justified? And the 360 doesn't? You are kidding me, right? A product as faulty as the 360 should never have made it to market. It's a disgrace, especailly when you look at how much work Nintendo has put into thewir consoles over the years to ensure that they are practically indestructible up until the point you smash them with a sledgehammer. To this day I've never heard of an original gameboy being broken.
This game is going to rule!
Well what choice did he have at that time? The 360 had broken! There was no warranty covering it at the time. He didn't break it, it broke itself. He would either have to fix it or buy a new one. By opening it up he didn't void his warranty because there was no warranty covering it at the time. It's MS's fault it broke, they should fix it.
I can't imagine anyone being able to create such a rich world as rapture and then just abandon it. They HAD to make a sequel.
Pikmin is disgusting. You practically play a megalomaniac dictator, discriminating living, sentient beings based on the colour of their skin, and sending many of them off to fight and die. You even strap explosives to the yellow ones and throw them at enemies so they can blow themselves up! Sickening.
W00T!
I just hope they don't raise the PC requirements. Either that or release it on the PS3.
He said Halo 1 IS one of the best fpss he's ever played. If he had said it WAS one of the best, then I couldn't draw comparison with modern shooters, because he'd be implying it was one of the best at the time of its release, which is much more realistic.
Though I'm sure an older, more experienced gamer with a deeper knowledge of long past PC shooters could come up with a list of games that were better than Halo. I still say that Halo had very annoying level design which ruined it for m...
Not while it takes me 10 minutes to download an album from a major mp3 site. High Definition movies are not suitable for downloading for the mass market, and will not be for a good many years.
*sighs* i was hoping space chimps might have been a reference to timesplitters 4....
Woah. Where have you been for the last decade?!
