Yeah, not hard to manage an 18-month streak at #1 when your competition is far more expensive and you have a year head start.
That's about 12 of that 18 months right there. So really... wow, only about 6 with same-gen competition.
Pssst.
That policy changed.
BluRay Drives aren't terribly common on computers yet. The idea was to give the game as wide a range of playability as possible.
People do here too.
Which is why we've been begging for them.
In other news, Water is Wet.
If you can go Next Gen, do it. You don't carry over saves anymore, your World State has to be imported from the Keep regardless.
Pre-ordered this last week. Can't wait to get it.
The reason it's potentially problematic is that they're dropping the price by $50 (selling at an increased loss) AND giving away a game for free, which is also a loss.
They're gonna have to hope to recoup those losses on software sales, which can be an issue depending on the buyer, the kind of games they like, and how often they consider purchasing said software. If someone figures they're buying solely for Halo, for example, you'd barely break even on the...
Titanfall was made console-exclusive because EA stupidly insisted Xbox would dominate the market right out of the gate. The devs have since said they want on PS with a sequel.
Tomb Raider is complete Timed Exclusivity. It WILL be hitting other platforms.
Sunset is... just like any other third party exclusive. Sony has those too.
"I’d go with the feature Sony would be least likely to implement – quality AAA titles."

"Misogyny via slut-shaming"
Uh, no. That's what happened. She cheated with her boss. And, according to her OWN STANDARDS: she is a rapist. She said, HER personal belief, that if one has sex with someone else while in a relationship, and then engage in intercourse with their partner without their partner knowing of it, she considered that rape. Frankly, that's not even holding her to her own standards, she gets off easy there...

"And yet here we are one year in and Sony is launching their pay TV service to select regions over an online infarastructure that couldn't handle the launch of Driveclub even after a one year delay."
Driveclub errors are part of that game's netcode and only that game. That's why every other game on PSN is still running fine. You know this, but you still take the shot.
"Seriously, Sony is launching pay TV on t...
