Welp.
The "Master Race" sure doesn't have Master Taste.
...wait, this isn't P4R? This is legit?
...I need a moment.
>This game
It's four games dude. If it DIDN'T have more content that'd kinda be laughable.
The fact that you felt the need to PM at me is telling.
Japan, whether you want to believe it or not, is still relevant. MS had HUGE hopes for the launch there. Sony kicked up the competitive drive. Why would you attempt to deflect to "Software"? What exactly do you think this software is being made to be used on?
Both companies want to move consoles. Both companies are attempting to do so. I'd say that means they consider it relevant.
They outright say that they're going to decide what we need to know.
This is neither a conspiracy nor flamebait. This is documented proof. No tinfoil hat necessary.
IGN also thinks each CoD installment is 10/10 tier.
...so you missed the last conference then?
There's also this... http://www.neogaf.com/forum...
"the only (good) new thing they announced was God Eater 2 for PS4"
>Dragon Quest
>Persona 5
>Disgaea 5
>Ys
>Metric F*ckton of JRPGs we're still learning more about and Vita support
>Themes
...Sure.
Quite the opposite is true. "Gamers" don't NEED to give "these people" attention, they give each other attention. Anita didn't get influence because gamers gave it to her. They didn't have her come in to "advise" them on Mirror's Edge 2 because gamers gave her attention.
She has attention, and it's the attention of developers and media who are hammering them to listen to her, media with that same agenda.
We ha...
"That is so precious you think the japanese console market is still relevant to either sony or ms"
Based on the big guns Sony's been pulling out at TGS, I'd say so. Unless you think those JRPGs were all for our benefit over here, of course...
@Septic
Doubtful. IF they made any exceptions to the rule, it would likely only be for those who are already big names in the Minecraft community and they'd just chalk it up to costs of advertising. Up-and-comers though... unlikely.
@optimus
This is Rare 2.0 bruh. They lost the brainpower there, they lost what made Rare a success, and they imploded and then just shuttered everything.
I see nothing different here, things are gonna stagnate.
They also have the brains of the operation gone.
I also wouldn't call the work of 343 anything close to the "best of the bunch" myself...
But yes, literally anyone else in the industry but MS would have been preferable, save maybe Capcom. They'd DLC it to death.
Truth be told, I can't blame him for selling.
I just wish it had been a better buyer.
Actually, a good portion of the first Mass Effect game kinda dragged its feet. It's really not until you're forced to make that first big choice between Kaidan and Ashley that it got really intense, imo. And then there's the effin' Mako...
Still, had people given up on that game early too...
"Sony does have 'the Tomorrow Children' where you and your comrades labour and die under what looks a hell of a lot like Communism..."
Might be the point the game is trying to make? Dear Leader there at the end certainly didn't look like a noble figure.
Some of the comments in there... Good Lord.
Few fairly vindictive people in there.
I believe he's referring to people who say this for Xbox indies: http://n4g.com/news/1586875...
But then have this to say about PS4 indies: http://n4g.com/news/1585760...
@Death
Did you seriously just imply most/all indie games are like "Depression Quest"? Seriously? You can't realistically think that, you have to be trolling.
But they merged and the titles are now property of Squeenix.
So... yay, I suppose.
