@aiBreeze FBI deals primarily with domestic issues. International/National Security generally becomes jurisdiction of the CIA or NSA.
Xbox said their price drop was only from November to January.
After all, those are "the months that count" according to them.
Four words:
Capcom
Can't
Afford
It.
They're already putting resources into an F2P title, no way they can afford to turn their big money-maker into one as well. Especially since Sony had to step in and help make it happen; was gonna be delayed until 2018 if it managed to come at all.
Or could it be that it's kind of a big deal when the last entries of the series managed to be in the Top 20 DESPITE being on the Xbox 360?
This is the first time that the series fails to make the top 50 (or even the top 20) on Microsoft’s consoles. Chaos:Head Noah on Xbox 360 grabbed a dignified 12th place in 2009, while Chaos;Head – Love Chu Chu! ranked 13th the year after.
The series is quite popular in Japan, enough to generate manga and anime series..." ...
Actually, it's because the series has done traditionally very well.
"This is the first time that the series fails to make the top 50 (or even the top 20) on Microsoft’s consoles. Chaos:Head Noah on Xbox 360 grabbed a dignified 12th place in 2009, while Chaos;Head – Love Chu Chu! ranked 13th the year after.

So yeah, this is actually pretty shocking news. ...
How? I understood right away that the week finally put them over 900k.
Unless one takes "After" to mean "During" then there's nothing misleading at all.
@nicksetzer1
Actually, ND never said that was in-game. They said that the video was running IN-ENGINE on a PS4, that it wasnt a pre-rendered cinematic trailer running on a PC.

"All footage you see in the trailer was captured completely in engine. That’s Nathan Drake rendered in 1080p full glory using the...
Dude, they legit SOLD the MCC based on Halo 2 multiplayer. It got a huge spotlight at the reveal for crying out loud. It's what all the sites were raving about.
Then when it comes out with said multiplayer broken... well, that doesn't matter! The Campaign is fun! Still 9 or 10 out of 10 even though the most-hyped feature doesn't work!
And therein lies the issue. Halo MCC got almost no flack for having broken multiplayer, and when people DID addres...
Sorry broski, not the case. The only thing that Square has with MS is a tep deal. MS didn't pay for the development of TR, they didn't have their people on the R&D team, and they certainly didn't help build the game engine.
This is far more a case of Bayonetta 2 than it is Tomb Raider.
@GDDR6_2014
Sony came out and said that they actually make a $20 profit on each console sold. Which puts their manufacture cost at $380.
It's fun doing something called verifiable research.
@Bigpappy
So... you just assume their original price was a 150% mark-up from the cost to make it?
Losing hundreds on each console sold and still not closing that worldwide gap isn't really "staying competitive".
They'd need a far more permanent solution.
People bashing on the game for pre-Alpha footage kinda have little say or room to talk, honestly.
And it's not like the man is dodging criticism. He and his team were talking to people who actually played the game afterwards to get feedback.
He could have been more diplomatic about it, sure, but this is who he is. We'll just have to wait and see how it turns out.
@gangsta_red
You DO know that not having R&D or budget means you're not funded... right?
Nor does not having the funds to make the game mean they have NO money. It just means Capcom is in such a bad spot right now that they have literally no extra money, and frankly a few more big flops will kill them. You didn't think they kept releasing more versions of already-existing SF games for fun did you? It was to spend VERY little money to try to make a...
You do realize that the article stating it would release in 2018 (due mostly to resource issues aka lack of cash) was from August 2013 and may not still be applicable due to this deal?
lol Sony paid for and is co-developing SFV. If any game goes to another platform under that banner, it's only gonna be with their consent, or Capcom will have to have either paid back Sony's investment or built it on a new engine Sony didn't go in on.
That's reality, my salty friend.
3 million units = Not Limited.
Hardly creates drive to want one or get one knowing there's literally millions laying about.
Gamestop*
Gamespot is a website.
People seem to get them confused a lot.
...PS4 was made in China, man.
The origin doesn't matter, it's about the quality of workmanship and design, as well as the games that will be available. Xbox dropping in price and literally giving away games didn't hurt its sales either. Though the company did take a big loss on each that they better hope software sales make up for...
A DDS attack is not a hack. You cannot make yourself immune to a DDoS attack. Doesn't matter how much "security" you have, as it doesn't require anyone to breach it. They just bombard the network with false traffic until it gives in, and keep doing it as long as they wish to.
