Vita memory cards were specially designed to make hacking the system incredibly hard. It's also why you needed the Content Manager to transfer files.
I'm not saying it wasn't still overpriced, but that's what made them unique.
Conveniently left out of GamingBolt's article, yet mentioned in their source, is this.

"It isn't all doom and gloom though, and the situation could be far, far worse. In the last two or so years, Sony has commendably set the PS Vita up for a long life, massively overhauling its developer policies to welcome independent developers and supplying the...
They got it several IPs and games early on. It still didn't sell.
Realistically, people kinda saw this coming. But so long as we still get games I'm cool with it. Most of the ones I own are Japanese games anyways. lol
The game suffered from two big problems: they'd killed the protagonist last game and replaced him with a character we barely got to know in said game, and the ending feels extremely lackluster. I enjoyed it right up until then, but once that final mission was done and the Chimera ships were just falling from the sky... idk, I was expecting more.
I still like the game, but there was room for improvement. Keep hoping we might get a 4th just to wrap it all up properly.
Pathetic how? You speak as if this is all they'll be bringing.
You say that like it'd be a bad thing.
There was no platform announced though.
Did people forget Sony has an entire division for film and television?
It's a TV series coming to NBC folks, calm down.

"The problem here is they are objectifying women."
Says the guy with the Fairy Tail avatar. lmao
The guy says there's a reason for the outfit, I can't pass judgement one way or the other until I hear it... but to sit there and straight-faced say that this is "problematic" because it "objectifies women" while repping the work of friggin HIRO MASHIMA is hilarious.
@Azzanation
The question was what Sony "needed" to do to "counter Microsoft". Not what people expect from or want to see from Sony.
The company currently holds a commanding lead and doesn't /need/ to do anything to counter a competitor they consistently outsell worldwide. But they will.
@Big_Game_Hunters
Yes, I do. Even the bad ones have comedic value, and the occasional good one is a very nice find. "It Follows", for example. Was also fond of the 2009 Friday the 13th film, was a nice homage to the franchise.
But this also caters to the people who see the "obviously stupid" choices some horror characters make and say "shoulda done X". Well, now that choice is in your hands. You gotta choose. You're also enco...
Wow.
That score is a joke.
"It's an interactive movie QTE fest that looks like a B-grade horror movie!"
...that's LITERALLY the point. How did people miss that from Day 1?
Well... we know what Konami's been reading.
They also have billions LESS than they had only 4 years ago.
This is hurting them to the point they can't simply ignore it as they have been. Hence the NX.
"But what the developer actually said is that it's hard to imagine doing such a great job like they did with the ps3. "
Not what you said, actually.
What he said was that it's hard to fathom it being possible, but that it's going to happen.
Try reading the full quote.
Did you even read?
>Scam
That implies intent. This was a stupid error, not a scam.
So... a lot of faux outrage over nothing.
