Kotaku and their headlines, man... soon as I saw it I knew who it was before I even came in.
TR was worded to make it sound Perma-Exclusive. All Sony said was a game that doesn't even have a release window yet is coming to their platform first. That would be it. No tricky wordplay. No smoke and mirrors. This isn't a game a year or so from launch.
FF7 is still overrated. Would much rather IX. But the fact remains that it's massively popular and people are going to remember that moment for a long time to come.
And that's the sign of a great conference reveal.
Psst.

They're coming.

Forget it, not even bothering.
Massively off-topic complaint remains, however.
Kickstarter requires you produce the product that you set out to make or you get sued to hell and back. If you can the project, the money is refunded.
The thing about Shenmue is that, while being a bit notorious (in a good way) in the gaming community, one does need to gauge this. It didn't sell well (granted because of the size of the DC's install base) and it's been well over a decade since Part 2 was released. Furthermore, they need to see if people would reall...
@Petebloodyonion
Sony didn't co-fund and co-develop Destiny, CoD, or AC. They are with Shenmue and Street Fighter.
Because they wanted the freedom of funding and making the game themselves. Hence the introduction it received.
Read the game's description.
"PlatinumGames' signature fast action allows instant robot to vehicle attacks, slam downs, counterattacks, and infinite combos for a unique master combat system"
Dude, they were saying no Street Fighter 5 til 2018 at the soonest YEARS before this deal was made. They bumped up the release date big time.

I'm a tad confused. The gameplay video on YouTube is running at 1080p/60fps.
So how is the game only at 30fps?
Odd though. Video they uploaded reads as 60fps.
Yes.
Following along the same general lines as the movie, yes.
...Joe Montana don't make the games, bruh. He just uses his likeness and endorsement to sell them.
Six games and one was on the Wii.
They have always been Third Party, never exclusive.
"Sounds like Sony kicked them to the curb."
"Looks like The Order can come to the PC!"
"I hope they keep up their relationship with Sony..."
Did no one read the article tho? RAD's always been a third party dev, The Order IP is owned by Sony and RAD's first proprietary IPs are unannounced yet, and The Order is selling well and they're still planning to maintain their relationship with Sony.

Sony never "lost" anything, RAD's always been third party.
Please enlighten me as to how seeing VR games up on a flat, rectangular screen without the experience or benefit of the VR would have sold you on buying a VR device.
