It won't. There are still people who think they outright own the character and Marvel need their permission to even keep making comics with him in them, for crying out loud. Being accurate with claims is not the internet's strong suit.
...that adds up to almost 69 years.
Man, stop using "man-hours" as a measuring stick. lol
They never removed a service. Nor is it back behind a paywall; if you own those titles, they're yours, period. They're also going to begin selling them to people for the new systems.
You really need to take a breath, Ted. Sounding a bit too much like your namesake here.
It literally is.
Not sure what you think that term means.
@Obscure
Sega destroyed Sega. Sega's long, long history of bad hardware decisions is what knocked out Sega. If you think simply competing with someone is "mercilessly destroying" them, then hoo boy, you're gonna have a bad time in life.
BTW... Sony never kept Persona or Yakuza off of Xbox via timed exclusives and Xbox pretty much standardized the practice of timed exclusivity (without disclosing it was timed, mind you) in the 360 era.
You're assuming that MS or Tencent would be WILLING to outspend there.
If Sony is willing to pay a price higher than MS or Tencent is, especially if the IP would only be licensed and not owned, then they very much can outbid others.
Nah fam, it's PS Now that gets you premium. Stopping Plus stacking wouldn't do anything as those Plus years just convert to Essential. So I get freezing Now to prevent exploits, but Plus too doesn't seem like it's that.
Especially as Sony said that you would get whichever version of the service based on the latest end date of whichever service you have so... wouldn't that just get you a few months of Premium and then just revert to Essential at best?
Yes and no. Depending on when those cards were issued. Say a retailer were to sell you a card with a code for a digital copy of a game. Now say said game was delisted and thus the code not honored. You would technically have to take that up with the retailer who sold it to you.
That said, I don't think this is the case at all here, as Sony literally has zero incentive to prevent Plus stacking; Plus members convert to the Essential tier. which goes for the same price.
...
Wait hold up. This don't make sense.
This is for PS Plus. That converts to Plus Essential, not Premium. And it's the same price. Why would they care if anyone stacked that?
Plus digital renewals via the store seem to be down as well.
I'm guessing they may be doing BTS stuff and did a temporary disabling.
They didn't. If physical cards were out in the wild, those were sold to retailers, and the retailers would be the ones continuing to sell them.
1. It's not a good read.
2. It's really not well-explained. "I dislike dialogue wheels" is not an explanation.
3. One of their "Offered Solutions" was done in Zero Dawn and it was actually a COMPLAINT people had because it required you to hunt collectibles to get key lore. Two are things they admit the game already does but that it could just "do more of". And the other... I'm sorry, but saying "just have few...
@pete
They're talking about games released on Game Pass, dude. You're missing context.
No, I'm saying that rage clicks are still clicks, and most publications are willing to risk it.
But also not willing to risk ticking off the wrong fanbases.
So if they can find a big enough title that's "safe" to go after, they will. And PlayStation & their games are a fashionable target.
Because it's currently a big name in the genre.
If they don't specifically go after a title like this, they won't get clicks AND run the risk of angering the Elden Ring or BOTW stans.
I'm gonna just say it;
Back when this game first dropped I saw all kinds of comments sections full of very angry dudes. Why?
"Why are you making me buy a whole other system to play Uncharted? Where's the PS3 version???"
I saw that under this. Under posts about Killzone Mercenary, Resistance, the list goes on. People even wanted PS3 ports of original titles like Gravity Rush rather than simply buying the handheld.
lol last year's Xbox and Activision revenues combined still put them behind PlayStation
Ahahahahahaaaaa, homie if you knew even a FRACTION of the crap Microsoft has pulled in their lifetime...
A massive revenue stream and a team of devs experienced with MP/Service games that their other teams can learn and draw from on future projects?
Except I'm buying the next-gen version of the game.
The less they feel they NEED that console in order to keep making games, the sooner they ditch it.
I find it odd that everyone is trying to make this out as if MS was directly offered Spider-Man and said no.
It's more that they were offered a similar deal with Sony to use Marvel IP. They may not have even chosen Spider-Man and instead gone with an IP more suited to their studios' strengths. Something team-based for an MP game is more likely.
Bizarre that they'd see that and say "no". I guess people really were scared away from tou...
