The Wii is still a new console and it's not likely to 'die' any time soon. I mean, since when has ANY console 'died'? The sales may slow a bit, but it will never just drop off the face of the planet after being #1 for so long. That's just fanboy fantasy.
Dude, there are plenty of people on this site who play Wii and I'll bet all are at least 14. So quit insulting us. It's probably the 8 year olds who AREN'T playing at this point, because it's been out for a while and the popularity has somewhat subsided. Popularity is a fickle beast, and in the end it will probably be just us hardcores still using the console. That's something Nintendo has to take into account.

Besides, the pointer alone can provide a lot of depth, if a dev knows how to use it. The trick is to make the controls polished so you can pull of complicated systems of motions.

You can't just throw on characters that have appeared on a Sony system. Super Smash brawlers are Nintendo exclusives, save these new ones like Sonic and Snake. In Melee and the original, they were all Nintendo-Developed characters.
