If anyone who plays Halo had played any of the 'old-school' Metroids they would know that, despite the Prime-series' rather slow running, Samus can actually run very fast normally- and up to Mach 4 while Speed Boosting and then perhaps faster while performing a Shine Sprite. That's 4 times the speed of sound, just so you know. When she's running that fast she smashes enemies in the way to pieces, armored or not. However, when you fight the boss in Fusion that is naturally enhanced by this p...
Uh, what? Nintendo has never been this high in the stocks- and how the heck would they have beaten Toyota? Toyota is the current leader with 3X Nintendo's share. There is no way Nintendo was once up there and dropped so far, especially with the success of the Wii and DS.
Please don't make things up.
The reason Halo is such a great game is not that it exceeds in any certain aspect, but that it is basically flawless overall. Very rarely can you play through a game without finding something blatantly bad; Halo delivers and that's why it's selling. Although I've never owned an Xbox, I can recognize that Halo deserves praise for what it is: a solid, well developed, fun game. That's worthy of an award considering the type of crap we have to filter through as gamers.

Also, are you seriously implying that the previously posted picture of a scale...
... You do realize that a majority of gamers don't even play FPS? I would consider Mario and Super Smash a double-barrel attack as much as Halo 3 and BioShock.
Uhh... Ok...
So, that's just them playing a Raving Rabbids build, right? I fail to see the point.
I wasn't interested before, but heck. This guy's got some moves. Of course, he'll never replace Samus for me.
I hope you're kidding. The dog is fine.
Very nice.
Wow, impressive. I can't wait to see what they'll turn out. Retro's gotta be my favorite game studio, ever.
Ranger mode= Zelda FPS? Never thought I'd see the day. Much better than what I thought this game would be (just plain old target shooting). And for $20, nice.
Technically it's an FPA :P
Actually my parents let me play Metroid when I assured them you don't attack other humans. Although, they're not nearly as bad as the fools this article is talking about.
Sigh... I wish it weren't so... but it is.
Either way, I'm interested in this game. After all, people are asking Nintendo to do something different, right? I'm all for it. Can't wait to play it.
... I saw it coming. All these misinformed people trying to file lawsuits because they CAN'T THINK FOR THEMSELVES. If you don't want your kid to have a gun toy DON'T BUY HIM A GUN TOY. Your grandpa probably had a real gun when he was 12, but apparently my video-game playing generation (who probably sit on the couch too often to even know how to USE a real gun) is going to grow up into a big genocide-fest. No. No, it's not. Companies can make whatever they like. You don't have to buy it...
Congratulations! A happy marriage to the both of you.
Wow... that looked beautiful. Sure, when it started showing in-game footage when you play as the kids it looked like a bad Disney movie, but still I'll play it anyway. The cinematic scenes are very nice.
Plus it matches my DS! Blue-lit stand though... that's one thing I want.
One factor that has been mentioned but not really realized is that not everyone is over 18 and free of parent's restrictions. The rating on a game doesn't just prove what audience it's marketed to, it proves what audience can even buy it (unless you've got those uninformed parents, lucky you). If I was even old enough for my parents to let me TOUCH Bioshock, I might think about it. Still, I prefer the less-gore, more-exploration approach from Metroid. Nothing against Bioshock; I saw the t...
Quite frankly, this one person's oppinion doesn't phase me at all. Perhaps our ADD generation has grown tired of the good Wii games right now, but I'm still playing Metroid the second time around (taking time to stop and gaze at the wonderfully crafted worlds) and I still pick up Wii sports when I feel like just /playing/. Zelda's been beaten twice, but now that I've had some time without it I might go back. I still love playing the final Ganondorf fight every once in a while.
