Posting from this source. I haven't really seen anything of value come out of it. I'm very hesitant to be excited about Retro... the thing is I put no trust in this "Surfer Girl".
I think someone may have hacked your keyboard. You might want to get that fixed.
Is the only Wii title I play standing up. Why? Well that's the point isn't it? To have fun with friends, mimic the motions and laugh at each other (well maybe Nintendo didn't really think of the last part). Everything else, I sit down. Well, there was one time when I was in an intense part of Prime 3 and I stood up for a while...
Point 2: Videogames are not a sport. Period. They can be made into a competition, but a sport carries a connotation that cannot be applied to ga...
Sounds funny.
But are you fanboys seriously nuts? Do you think Sony getting more money from their console affects you at all? Do the sales of a console really affect your gaming experience? If the Wii wasn't number one, I wouldn't care at all. In fact, it might make the experience better, as people would no longer have to take cheap shots at it to make themselves feel better.
So, with that point, don't expect to be liked anymore just because your console is rising (to the top?). In fact...
But the title spins it like one. If they said Wii STOCK is going down, that would have been fine. For a moment I thought the Wii was losing sales... of course that would probably make big news.
Nintendo has done noting negative to the videogame industry. If anything its proven how successful a video game company can be, encouraging growing businesses. Nintendo picks up Retro, Retro makes great games, Retro gets fame. And have you ever stopped to think that there's a REASON the Wii is outselling the 'big heavies'? Don't talk about what something does or does not deserve; in the industry you GET what you deserve. If you have a quality product but don't advertise it well, then it ...
with this article in that PS3 has no defined mascot. I won't say if it's better or worse than having one, though. It's just, you know, Sony doesn't have a character that instantly comes to mind for me. MS and N do, but I really don't think it's a huge deal.
The Wii has quite a few games that I've enjoyed:
LoZ:TP, MP3, BWii, And Wii Sports I suppose. That's more than enough for me, as I don't consider myself someone who lives to play games all day and doesn't have an attention span long enough to play one twice. However, I still have not gotten SMG, and SSBB will come out next year, accompanied hopefully by Disaster:Day of Crisis. Later on, there will be this new ruins RPG "Fragile" that looks interesting.
Why am I still not excited for this game? I just don't get it. I should be going crazy.
I guess I'll just have to buy it and try for myself.
...no respect. Without Mario, video games might not have even survived until now. So get off your high horse and give respect where it is due.
Well in that case why does anyone care about this article at all?
More non-party game titles for the Wii. I like that. I'll add this on my 'watch' list with D:DoC. Hammer was on there, but it got axed :(
is nothing new.
don't have much experience with Nintendo, do you? Read interviews with Miyamoto? Nintendo is dedicated to the Videogame industry. They are the only company completely dedicated to it. They are also the only company who turns a profit... does that make them greedy? No, that makes them a good company.
Now tell me, does your paper target a specific audience? How about the wallpaper you use? Is your couch made for hardcore couch potatoes? What audience does your microwave t...
I hear you on the exclusives. Creative, exclusive content is what sells a console.
It can't.
Okay, now people are trying to compare the iPod and Zune based on engravings??? For goodness' sakes, people, just look at the features!
FordGTGuy- just saying, you're not the only person who supports Zune here. I back up all that you've said.
I think with 5 lines I would write a poem.
Yeah, Nintendo's lack of good story really annoys me. The Metroid Prime series had such potential, but they went all-gameplay and left the story very ambiguous and unclear. I'm hoping some of their new games, like Disaster, will have better storylines.
if Nintendo was not producing 100% and instead keeping demand high. Why? Because they are a smart company.
