It's nice that after years of waiting, we FINALLY get a Sonic game that's worth playing. Is Sega finally going to turn it around...?
Length had no consideration for our GotY nominees, for the record. A couple of us (myself included) had Enslaved on our lists and that game was finished in two sittings.
And I'm sorry, but with ME2 coming to PS3, the fanboy argument doesn't hold water anymore -- not that it ever did to begin with.
To be fair, it's rare to get a direct sequel to an established Nintendo franchise in the same console generation PERIOD. It's not like they're pulling an Activision here.
We'd probably never be able to get you to stop playing Monster Hunter Tri if that happened ;P

A full third of those I have zero interest in playing. Still, there's quite a few good picks there. And I have to agree with Focker - no Last Guardian? WTF?

If Activision had control of the Halo universe reigns, you'd not only already have played as Cortana (rocking out on guitar) but also Halo Kartz and Master Chief's Halo Snowboarding feat. Shaun White guest appearances.
Here's to hoping 343 plays it smart and doesn't pull that shit on us.
