Forced installs are unnecessary. If you don't want to have to look for your disk than buy digital. That's how it was this gen. They gave you a choice. I myself prefer physical copies.

They aren't handing out flyers to keep people from buying the product. They are handing out flyers to inform people about it. If GameStop didn't want to sell the One, they would just not carry it.
