When you literally copy almost everything your competitor has been doing for years, right down to the menu designs, its really hard to screw up.
So if I were to review Dragonquest and give it a 0/10 because its not CoD enough, that's absolutely fine with you?
The first one actually sold rather well considering it was a new IP exclusive to one console. Two and three sold poorly, however.
Amnesia is overrated more often than it is overlooked. I'd toss one of the Siren games in its place.
Opposed to the PS3, which asked you if you want Singstar on top of your games menu. Oh, wait...
You could also just watch a live stream of the game you are looking to buy on twitch tv or any other streaming site. Almost every new game is always streamed by some random gamer, and its the best way to see if a game is worth buying. No doctored screenshots, no hype, misleading trailers, just one dude playing the game.
I've bought (and avoided) quite a few games because I liked (or didn't like) what I saw on a stream, and I've never regretted a purchase since.
Just wait for Ultimate Resident Evil 6: Gold Edition 2013.
No Siren? Really?
Even if you buy it new it affects you. There will be less players online to play against and it's worth less if you sell it, which could affect how much money you have to put towards another new game.
Damn, how am I going to enjoy the game if it doesn't sell 2 million copies? Oh wait...
Double Standards. Women want equality while also being special flowers with rules and benefits allowed only to them.
Women sure love to complain.
It's Capcom. I'll be passing it up.
Only in one country. And at least the chargers don't burn users and force government investigation.
So they are giving you a game you can't even play unless you shell out more money? Only Sony would try something like this.
You think its going to sell 2 million more copies in 3 days? Because that's how well DQIX sold.
FFXI also released in a time before WoW (in Japan), before the F2P boom, and is available on 3 platforms. There's no way a Nintendo-only P2P MMO can flourish like FFXI did.
Another Outbreak (or re-release of 1+2 with online enabled) is the only zombie game I would pay for, the rest I simply rent.
Nah, PS2 and the original Xbox have the definitive versions of SH2. PS2 has the definitive version of SH3.
To be fair, Nintendo had 6 years to take in and learn from Microsoft's and Sony's mistakes this gen, and yet they learned nothing.
