Another flop for the Xbox One. I regret my purchase every day.
Grindimon World: Grind Order
Spend 70% of the time in the gym grinding, make progress for 30% of the remaining time only to have your digimon die, repeating the process.
This thing is way bigger than a Vita, which is bigger than a 3DS. There's no way that this will catch on as a handheld device used while traveling.
Hopefully this leads to Crytek selling Timesplitters to a publisher that actually cares about it.
Which leads to long gaps regardless unless you buy every single little thing Nintendo releases.
A bunch of indie games available years ago with numerous discounts, but now at full price! Man the Switch sure has a great lineup!
Sony has had more exclusives within two weeks than Microsoft has lined up all year.
"System contains everything you need."
Except, you know, something to PLAY on it.
No co-op no buy.
Third-party developers are either going to ignore it or underutilized it, just like the Kinect, just like the Wii U gamepad, and just like the PS4's touchpad and lightbar. There's no reason to spend time developing such a minor feature for a single platform when it won't help sell copies of games.
X sucked so bad it's hard to be excited for another release this soon.
"an amazing device if it's just considered a handheld"
Two-and-a-half hour battery life disagrees.
No joke. Now users have to worry about their phone battery too just to use voice chat.
Too many good games coming out on basically the same day. Dragon Quest 8 3DS, Gravity Rush 2, Digimon World Next Order, Resident Evil 7, Tales of Berseria and Yakuza Zero.
You know the 6 hours mentioned is only going to be met when playing an NES game on the darkest screen setting.
You don't see where the negativity is coming from? $299 and it doesn't have a pack-in game. Weaker than the Xbox One. 32 GB storage. $110 for a joycon+dock set (basically required for ARMS). Paid online. "Free" monthly NES/SNES games only last a month. Voice chat requires a phone. Two-and-a-half hour battery life undocked. Horrible launch lineup, with the only notable game being available on the Wii U. Pathetic list of upcoming games shows one first-party exclusive game per ...
And those were both full-fledged exclusives. The one actual game for the Switch, Zelda, is available on thier previous hardware and the rest of the lineup is shovelware minigame collections at $50+ a pop.
They aren't fooling me again. Last time we got something that had almost nothing to do with SMT itself.
Because Capcom and the public already know that SF5 was a rushed mess and fixing things like netcode and the atrociously bad load times isn't gonna get them more sales. They'd rather just leave the brand in shambles and pump out DLC to the dwindling playerbase rather than try to make up for their mistakes.
Much easier to make a braindead effort to jump on the VR hypetrain before it derails.
