Well, there are specific mods that might make one want to play this at least single-player.
Not even worth it at $10. There are very few games I won't at least suffer through to see the ending, this was absolutely one of those games I couldn't stand.
Let New Leaf die already and make a Switch Animal Crossing FFS!
So many little QoL things they could have done, like the spell wheel not pausing the game and limited enemies on screen, along with adding online multiplayer... but they decide to muddy up the graphics and soundtrack and toss in voice acting. Geniuses over there at Squeenix I tell ya.
Microsoft is gonna have to start funding things like Lost Odyssey 2 and Blue Dragon 3(?) in order to shake off the dudebro stigma of the Bone in order to get more Japanese support. Unsurprisingly, they don't seem willing to invest in interesting games... or much of anything they can't stuff to the brim with microtransactions ala Sea of Thieves.
Goddamn I'd love Parasite Eve 1 and 2 remakes. As long as they retcon The Third Birthday I'd be down for a proper sequel too.
Would have bought this three times had it included online co-op, but I'll stick with the SNES release I guess. Emulator programmers are apparently better at online co-op than Square Enix themselves.
"Free"
It was paid for already via Kickstarter and originally promised to be in at release. Bit miffed that its still not available almost half a year after release.
Because Halo 5 was poorly received and Gears of War 4 flopped. Can't charge for something no one liked in the first place, best you can do it appease the few that bought/enjoyed it so they buy the next yearly game. If either had been a smash hit you know they'd be charging users out the nose.
Yeah this is the best thing Nintendo could pull and would save their otherwise hilariously pathetic pay-to-play online service.
Because there is nothing else to do in the game besides get cosmetics and now they are locking them behind a paywall?
Yeah, you can just grind for 20 hours to get it instead. Piss off with that sentiment.
No Man's Sea: Now with Microtransactions
Monster Hunter Worlds doesn't have microtransactions, but I'd gladly pay for some new hairstyles.
"Free" and "Microsoft" rarely go hand-in-hand.
Remember when outfits were unlockables?
Hiding it in a 3-month delay so it doesn't affect reviews? Absolutely.
That's the biggest pile of bull I've ever read on this site, and its flooded with bots spamming crap about making 100000 dollars an hour.
I'd rather a remake add as much as possible while keeping existing content as similar as possible. Like adding a few new Colossi for example.
No way anyone who played MHW could ever go back to handheld MH.
