First of all, Planetside 2 came out this year. Second, it's made by Sony. And Third, hardly any console gamer has a gaming rig that can run Planetside 2 decently.

Look this is a little disappointing, but I am sure a PS4 Ratchet and Clank will come out at some point. However, this coming to PS3 around the time PS4 launches just proves, yet again, for the 3rd generation of Playstation that Sony supports their fans. Can't afford to buy a PS4 right away, or don't want to for some reason? There is still new stuff to play for your PS3, not just incremented sports games, gotta love it.

I hope they don't screw this up, I love Ratchet & Clank, but the last few games with that name on it weren't up to par. A Crack in Time was amazing, but anything after that, not so much. Their latest work in general was lacking, to put it mildly, nothing like the Insomniac games I've played on 3 generations now.
You listed many games, 4 of which are only available on the Wii U, none of them interest me in the slightest, though. The others are all available for platforms Í already own. To each his own, but multiplatform titles, that I can play totday without buying a Wii U, some of them I already played, are no reason to buy the Wii U.
Well as I said in the post above, I haven't played anything Nintendo related since N64. All my friends also jumped ship to Playstation in the 90's, so none of them have a GameCube, nor a Wii, and no Wii U either.
The aformentioned games are something I'd like to play, not something I desperately need to. If Nintento don't want to release their games on Playstation, that's fine, I won't be playing them, simple as that. By the time the console gets cheap...
Sony came out in 2005 about how the PS3 is a multimedia hub, no longer a simple games console. They have tacked on so many capabilities that weren't gaming related, it ended up hurting them. They even included the PS2 hardware to make it backwards compatible, resulting in the infamous 599 price tag. True, but I would argue that, people who want Nintendo to abandon the home console hardware and go handheld and software only, for other consoles, while generally expressing interest, are also saying that the only way this interest would result in sales for Nintendo, is by expanding their franchises to other consoles, that way they won't have to pay for an overpriced device for 3-4 games they would've liked to play.

Awards usually have a deadline, games that come out after this deadline will be considered for next year. Far Cry 3 will be on the list for this year.
Just wait for the XBox after the XBox One. It will have Kinect 3.0 with a levitating anal probe that flies up your rear end to check your vitals, while you are being distracted by some cloud magic happening on screen.
It will adjust the difficulty of your game based on how butthurt you are.

Sony helped From Software develop Demon's Souls, in exchange, they kept the rights to the IP. But From Software wanted to release the sequel as a multiplatform title, that's why they made a very similar game called Dark Souls, so it could be released on the XBox 360 and later PC.
Halo 3 in particular is dirt cheap. I've seen in at my local brick and mortar for 2,50€. To put it in perspective: 1 month of XBox Live costs as much as 2 copies of Halo 3...

They haven't changed anything because of any reactions. Shuhei Yoshida said in an interview with Eurogamer that there won't be any 24 hour activation, always online or used game restrictions in place... in February.

You missed the point. The article is about Free2Play games, which should be free... to play. Your rant is completely off topic.
They have made incredibly stupid choices and gave very biased comparisons and review scores favouring the 360 at the start of this gen. But They came around in my opinion. They gave Uncharted 3 game of the year in 2011, while the rest of the industry was drooling over Skyrim (Skyrim didn't even win in the RPG department, award went to Dark Souls, rightfully so).
I have very fond memories... of Triple Triad.
I know quite a lot of people who will be very disappointed/angry/outraged/fu rious... not a single person I know will like this change. And I can't imagine there are any at all.
