"Enjoy paying $90 extra for a plastic statue."
I plan on it! I have no problem with lining Bethesda's pockets. Also, I'd pay the full price even without the book. That PVC statue is mine.
I put down my deposit today as well. It felt weird paying $25 just to pre-order a video game. lol
Good luck avoiding online passes for the rest of your life. I won't be able to, there are too many good games out there that do it.
As do I, jc48573...As do I.
@Snowii
Black Ops didn't take anywhere near as long as BF3 in terms of development time.
I was in the Alpha as well. Trust me, this game will rock.
@tiffac
I support that idea.
Sweetness! I'll be putting in my order tomorrow.
"Looks as though Battlefield has just as many games as the so called "milked COD"."
LOL @ anyone who thinks BF1943 was a full BF title. That game was DLC as far as I'm concerned. I don't think the Bad Company games fall into the "Battlefield" category. The last true Battlefield title was BF2142 on PC. I still enjoy BC2 immensely, but it just isn't BF2.
Also, CoD's DLC list made me realize why I stopped paying for ...
I think there are more CoD trolls than there are CoD fans.
Claire > Ada
...Yeah, I said it.
Too much ARMA is a bad thing. Too much CoD is a bad thing. I consider BF to be the perfect center of the two styles.
I absolutely do not consider BF titles to be arcade shooters. They just don't play like arcade shooters. I also do not consider BF titles to be war simulators. As I said, it's the perfect middle ground for my tastes and play style.
"That new bit of kit should take hours upon hours of blood, sweat and bullets to achieve. More like BF 2."
Agreed! If you can't put in the time, you don't get the goods. Ah, I remember choosing kit unlocks in BF2. Each one was so exciting.
Raven loves him some 360. In his mind, if there isn't 360 footage, there isn't console footage. I find that to be pretty hilarious.
But see, I disagree...All bias aside, I actually enjoyed watching the tank warfare demo of BF3. There was no action music, no hardcore soldiers with knives in their teeth, just real soldiers taking orders. I just get a kick out of that for some reason...Maybe it's just me. The graphics were flawless too, which is a plus-plus for me.
When comparing BF3 to BF2, there's a HUGE leap in terms of quality, gameplay, and graphics. It's almost overwhelming if you go back ...
Day one buy!
That 12" Alduin must be MIIIIIIIINE!
That live demo looked incredibly mundane. Sorry, but I just can't bring myself to get excited for Call of Duty like I did with CoD4.
Swim underwater! Slow-mo breach and clear! Shoot some doods! Escape!
It just looks all too familiar in my opinion.
Wow, now that's a deal. Good on you, EA.
@MrSpace
Sorry, but when compared to the actual picture that the statue is based on, I think it looks fine. The only thing I have a problem with is the lines on his mouth, and that's not a big deal for me.
It's my opinion, and that doesn't mean that my taste is any less credible than yours.
The face in the collector's edition looks fine. Sideshow knows what they're doing...
I've got my amazing U3 collector's edition pre-ordered. :)
@egidem
Sticks and stones, brother. It's my hard earned money, I'll decide what to do with it, thanks. :)
