Many collectibles statues and figures use the very same material. You shouldn't even be interested in this unless you're a collector.

I'm sorry, but seeing Gears 3 on that list made me chuckle a little.
Gears 3's graphics are great, but nowhere near the likes of Battlefield 3 or Rage. Just my two cents.

Nah, I disagree. I consider Battlefield 3 to be a heavy hitter. It's going to surprise a lot of people that are expecting it to bomb.

I've been waiting for this game since 2007...Remember that issue of PC Gamer that debuted Guild Wars 2? The one that came with the Asura minipet code? I've still got it...mint condition. That's how long I've been waiting. :/

It doesn't matter what the engine is used on LATER. Battlefield 3 will be the first time it appears in a video game.
Also, yes, it's a new iteration of an existing engine. But it's still a NEW ITERATION. Did you not participate in the alpha? It's leagues better than BC2's engine. LEAGUES better.
I would buy it again. Heck, I'd pay $60 for it.

Have you ever heard of Mighty Muggs? They're nothing special - just vinyl dolls painted to resemble popular characters. There's a Venom Mugg that sells for $40-$70 depending on the condition of the box. It's about 5" tall.
Collectors pay high dollar for certain figures, even pvc figures. As a matter of fact, pvc is one of the most common materials for collectible figures.
