Both sides have their haters, don't be silly.
Where were you when Black Ops launched?
I'll be playing my hard copy of Rage at midnight as well. :)
Most retailers have midnight launches for big titles. There are at least three stores near me that always have midnight launches.
@Vashlion
Actually, Solid Snake is modeled after Kurt Russell's character in Escape from New York, Snake Plissken.
Remember Snake's alias in MGS2? "Iroquois Pliskin?"
Escape from New York is an 80's action movie directed by John Carpenter.
Even if DICE did show 360 footage, you'd probably still complain about the graphics / gameplay. You like CoD, not Battlefield, so why are you so concerned about the lack of 360 footage?
That's what he does. I've honestly given up on deciphering it.
OnLive will NOT be replacing consoles any time soon.
WOW...The Argonian looks AMAZING.
@miDnIghtEr
Stop trying to stoke the flames.
NO ONE should be complaining about this update. It doesn't cost you anything, and it doesn't do away with any existing features.
Wow, you're braver than I. When I first played Dead Space on launch night with all lights out, I was horrified. Did you also find Amnesia: The Dark Descent to be a stroll through the park?
I'm with you.
Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2 HD collection plz.
I agree regarding the co-op actions of holding a flashlight, splitting up, etc. RE5 was a huge missed opportunity in terms of co-op potential.
I only want it removed because I feel alone and scared when a buddy isn't playing with me. Not one time was I horrified in RE5 co-op...not one time.
Why do you just blindly assume that everyone will rush out and buy MW3? I didn't buy Black Ops and I won't be buying MW3.
Guaranteed.
I'm one of the people that didn't cave.
MW2 was my last CoD. I'm still Black Ops-free to this day.
Agreed. After finishing Brotherhood, I felt violated. As if I just forked over the $60 just to see what happened next in the plot...Then I saw the ending. Yeah, I won't be coming back to Assassin's Creed until AC3 releases.
1) Real zombies
2) Great music
3) The ability to shoot while moving
4) No co-op
5) Large expansive environment
That's my wishlist...I doubt most of it will materialize, though.
@General Shrooms
Yes it does. Dead Space has proven that this can be done correctly. Dead Space 2, even with the ability to change aiming sensitivity, was still pretty tough on the harder difficulties. I highly doubt a human being wo...
Um...plenty of veterans have said that playing BF3 is "as close as it gets."
DICE had vets and military men at their E3 booth saying such things.
Also, my pops is a former US Marine and all he plays is Battlefield. Whether you choose to believe this is totally irrelevant to me, but it is indeed true.
Why can't he be excited about an exclusive game? Is that really so taboo?
I'm super stoked for both Ico and SotC. I'm also stoked that I've got a PS3 to play this magnificent collection on. I can't wait to relive the PS2 days once again.
Nice edition! I dig the steelbook.
Ken, you were already awesome in my eyes...This just propels you into a new stratosphere of awesome.
"but, ultimately, I think sales will peak, and over time, fatigue from annual releases is bound to set in.”
Bingo. My thoughts exactly.
I say this without a shred of bias - CoD has nowhere to go but down after MW3 releases. Sure, people will still buy the next Treyarch CoD, they gotta have their zombie fix. But, I remain unsold on the fact that CoD will continue these outrageous sales numbers. Anyone remember Guitar Hero?
