Monster Hunter started on the PS2, why hasn't the series migrated to the PS3? One of the main reasons I bought my PS3 was for the then announced Monster Hunter title on PS3. Isn't the series making BOAT LOADS of money in Japan? Don't a LOT of people in Japan own PS3s? It's really quite simple, Capcom!

I watch Blu-rays in my PS3 constantly. I get a console and Blu-ray player in one - it saves space. As opposed to a DVD player, a Blu-ray player, and a console. The PS3 acts as all three.

Tell me, what distinguishes one CoD title from another? Nearly all of them offer identical gaming experiences from what I've seen.
CoD4 looked and played like MW2 in my eyes. What will MW3 do to break the CoD mold? Judging from the footage I've seen? Nothing. MW3 will use the same formula that has rocketed the series into the stratosphere of popularity. Activision will not change ANYTHING until the sales start hurting.

I won't be purchasing MW3. I participated in the BF3 Alpha - which confirmed for me which game would be better.
All CoD titles (thus far) have all played the same for the most part. If MW3 is sticking with the tried and true formula of previous CoD titles, yes, I've already made the decision in my mind. Battlefield 3.

Also, a game does not need to sell Halo / CoD numbers to be a success.
Sites / mags that gave Resistance 3 high marks = no name sites / mags.
Sites / mags that gave Resistance 3 low marks = unbiased reviewers that are doing a great job.

Sorry, buddy, but I doubt that MW3 will have the longer lasting community. You can still join full games both in Battlefield 1942 (released in 2002) and Battlefield 2 (released in 2005).
CoD games also have a long lasting community, but most players jump ship to move on to the next CoD title on release. I still play Battlefield 2142, and I'll still be playing it after Battlefield 3 releases.
