If I were to name the major evil of this generation, it would most certainly not be EA. Those guys have delivered numerous times in my book, while other developers have not.
People hate on EA for the same reason people hate FOX News, it's cool and "in" to do so, and if you don't, you're obviously psychotic.
Shadows of the Damned, Battlefield 3, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, Dead Space 1 & 2, SSX, Alice: Madness Returns? I loved all ...
Gex is awesome. I loved the first game and Undercover Gecko. Big childhood favorites of mine.
Every year they're right, eh? Is that why MW3 won oodles upon oodles of imaginary awards last year? Because I don't recall any high critical acclaim.
Agreed! I feel sorry for all of the people that have never heard of Guild Wars 2. I spent 7 years playing the first and I look forward to another 7 in Tyria starting this year.
Of course, I'm not even a PC fanboy. I mainly game on the PS3, which should say something about how awesome Guild Wars 2 is going to be.
Another CoD? *shrug* I don't get it anymore, guys. I've tried to debate against the fanboys, but I'm done. I'm just going to walk...
@MmaFan-Qc
Exactly what I was thinking. What the **** else was he going to say?
@Bigpappy
Yeah, because you never troll right, pappy? Pfft. Go back to hating on Dark Souls articles.
On topic: Looking forward to this. I've had my eye on this game for a good while and I'm glad to see that it's receiving decent praise.
Who said anything about using time and energy? Did you miss the part where I said I haven't touched a CoD title since MW2? If you consider typing and reading articles to be a task that consumes "energy," you must get tired from breathing and blinking.
I can't handle CoD being popular? Yeah, man, you sure pegged me right! I toss and turn and lose sleep over CoD's popularity every single night! I wake up in cold sweats dreading the next rehashed title. I...
CoD pie must be really stale considering how old and outdated it is.
I love how up in arms everyone is getting just because one major company said a few nasty words about another major company. Do you people own stock or something? They're companies competing for the same playerbase. They're going to fight. Deal with it, ninnies.
We're subgamers because we actually like a miniscule amount of diversity in our gaming experiences? PLEASE, SON.
I hate CoD. I've been CoD-free since MW2, and I feel like a million bucks not being weighed down by my peers to buy the next cawadoody title year after bloody year.
Did I mention how old the engine is?
Another cyberpunk romp?...Meh. I wasn't really excited for it to begin with.
STUPIDLY pumped for this one. This and Guild Wars 2 are my most anticipated games for this year.
What you people don't understand is that it isn't DICE calling the exclusivity shots, it's EA. DICE has to do what EA says for the most part.
@KingOptimus777
You have developers confused with publishers.
Hear, hear! Great game choice by the way. It's in my top five of all time. I miss the online so much.
THIS...will be mine.
Not as good as the originals, but nowhere near as crappy as the more recent titles. And this is coming from someone that isn't a blind Team Silent fanboy. The music in this game is second to only Yamaoka when it comes to horror games. Really enjoying it.
I feel the same way, man. You're not alone. At first I thought it was just a dumb way to say "the Lizard."
I'm actually enjoying Downpour. Way better than Homecoming and Shattered Memories in my opinion.
-double post-
It's funny how no one remembers Rocksteady BEFORE Arkham Asylum came out. But the fanboys will yell at you until they're blue in the face regarding their undying love for the group.
Gamers are such a fickle little bunch. Sometimes I'm ashamed to be associated w
@DFogz
Who's the one getting worked up here? I wasn't aware that we were discussing Activision's stock numbers. I thought we were actually talking about the quality of the video game itself.
But yeah, you're right. Black Ops 2 will fly off the shelves just like Bieber's next album. Which of these two will be the superior product remains unseen, though.
