I actually OWNED the Game Boy camera and printer. Saying that the camera shared anything in common with the PlayStation EyeToy is a stretch at best. The camera shares nothing in common with the EyeToy aside from the fact that it was a camera. (And calling the Game Boy camera a "camera" is a stretch. It was pretty bad.)
If anything, the EyeToy has more in common with Kinect than the Game Boy camera.

Sorry, but as I said in my first post, I blame the devs. There are plenty of bug-free titles on the PS3. If the dev can't adapt to the hardware, admit it and warn people. Don't promise us that your game will run seamlessly when you KNOW good and well that it will not.

Agreed. After listening to Todd Howard say countless times that "both versions will be equal," I gagged a little every time I put Skyrim into my PS3.
What Bethesda did, again to the PS3, is just inexcusable. There are plenty of devs out there that manage just fine while developing for the PS3, so you can't blame the tech. It's your studio's fault, not the system's. Get it right next time, because I'm not buying on launch until I know it works. ...

For all of you uninformed folks, Sony had the EyeToy before the Wii even existed. Fact. Nintendo is only innovative because people don't research enough. Oh, and Kinect was already done by Sony as well...with the EyeToy.
The WiiU is a console crossed with an iPad. That's not very original and innovative to me. It was only a question of who's going to produce it first.

This would require a giant push in unison, though. And I doubt most video game purchasers even care about the situation enough to cause too much fuss over it. They're content with just going into Wal-Mart and picking up a copy of the new game that released.

Agreed. GTA IV felt very clunky to me. The cover system was unreliable at best. I never understood why the game received such high marks and praise. Probably just because it said "Grand Theft Auto" on the box. I also agree that Vice City is the best, for me at least. :P
