@Siren30
I'm having a blast with Twisted Metal, it's just as I remembered it from the old days. You probably don't even own it. Any fan of the old school Twisted Metal titles would love it.
I'm not obsessed with exclusives. I'm just glad that Sony gave us so many last year. I've enjoyed all of them (except for that All 4 One / Heroes on the Move abomination) thoroughly. PROBLEM?
I remember back when this gen first star...
I'll be picking this one up, but not because I think it's this year's Dark Souls.
The game looks NOTHING like Dark Souls from the footage that I've seen. I don't even know why this comparison is being made.
Troll, troll, troll.
Skyrim runs fine on the PS3 post-patch. The framerate is MUCH better than it was before. It's a noticeable difference.
@honkyjesus
Nice, I really like how you added something meaningful to the conversation...Oh, wait. If you're going to deny that Sony DIDN'T have a ton of exclusives in 2011, lol to you sir. Truly lol. Calling me a fanboy does nothing but prove you have nothing intelligible to add to the argument.
Facts: Alan Wake will not remain a 360 exclusive. The Witcher 2 is not a 360 exclusive. The Witcher 3 will be heading to the PS3.
Care to ar...
I kind of feel the same way. Not sure what to think of this...
I wish Frictional Games would've just stuck with it. Amnesia was a horror masterpiece.
The Witcher 2 isn't an exclusive, brah. You can play it on PC as well as 360. The new Alan Wake is sure to head to PC as well, just as the first one did.
Can you play Twisted Metal or Starhawk on the PC / 360? No, you can't. Those two games can be found "exclusively" on the PS3.
Also, after the mind-boggling amount of exclusives Sony delivered last year, there's no room to brag over a couple of "not-exclusives" from MS this yea...
Interesting. Oh well, I'll stick to the PC version I guess. I was going to get a second copy just for my PS3 and the trophies.
@deep_fried_bum_cake
Oh, man, I KNEW some random brodude was going to point out that ME2 was an RPG and that I shouldn't be playing an RPG if I don't like dialogue. Seriously, I sensed it as I typed my original message.
Don't just assume that I don't like RPGs when I say "a TON of dialogue."
The game had TOO MUCH dialogue for its own good.
If you're going to back this game up by saying "the ...
@FinancialGamer
I wouldn't say that.
I remember when the PS3 received ME2. Everyone was so excited.
"It's one of the best games ever, and it's coming to the PS3!!! You guys gotta check it out! It's awesome!"
Yeah...awesome if you like a TON of dialogue and clunky third-person shooting action. The controls reminded me of how bad the first Kane & Lynch controlled.
This isn't ...
Yeah, but what about the previous iterations of CoD, care to defend those? After so many releases, it's only natural to finally have it down to a science.
How many Twisted Metal online titles have been released on the PS3?
Exactly.
Anyone who disagreed is jelly because Sony is assaulting us gamers with release after release.
There's NO such thing as too many good video games. I hate to use this term, but haters gonna hate.
Doesn't matter to me. I know my trophies are all legit, so I'm happy. :)
Hear hear.
I only have the God of War one.
But I have 3,000+ trophies and 41 platinum trophies. I'm pretty sure I'm self-respected.
(I'm not talking about Hannah Montana: The Movie trophies either. I'm talking BioShock, Demon's Souls, BlazBlue, etc.)
I'm glad, I hated UMDs. The things were way too fragile and got dirty all too quickly. And I'm a person that's very careful with my belongings.
Why hasn't anyone actually made a licensed LOTR Elder Scrolls-esque title? It would sell gazillions.
Huge fan of Spawn, and I love the art style in Reckoning. So vibrant, and yet brutal at the same time.
...Now if we could only get a good Spawn game.
@BiggsnWedge
True. But the PC doesn't have Demon's Souls or Dark Souls, so I'll stick with my inferior console. :)
Also, they both look pretty similar, nothing to dictate which version you should purchase.
"A bit hypocritical of them to criticize the quests in this game when they praised Skyrim's generic fetch/kill quests in their review."
This.
It seems a lot of review sites are totally oblivious to the fact that they praise some games for having something and then demerit the next for also having the same thing.
Inexcusable in my opinion.
Sure, they gave us a patch, big deal. Should I be grateful to a company that released the game KNOWING that it was in the shape that it was in? I don't think so.
I'm sick and tired of being shafted by Bethesda when buying their titles on the PS3. Isn't it embarrassing, Bethesda? Not having something down pat even after all these attempts?
