Very interesting and great article. I definitely believe that this article has hit the nail on the head. It all makes sense. The research was presented in 2006 when the youtube account was created and this kind of innovation goes along with the description of the game as "a game you won't believe". This could be one hell of a game. If the main enemies are ants though, how does the player combat them and how can the devs put variety into the gameplay?

Here's the thing. UC3 and Gears 3 were great games but didn't innovate or improve significantly upon their predecessors. Skyrim did in huge ways. Sure it has its bugs (which on pc I don't seem to notice) but Bethesda updated the Engine from the game and almost everything is improved over Oblivion.
