Halo is a great game but nothing when compared with MGS. Halo's story is retarded whilst MGS had one of the best video game stories ever.
This game has potential no doubt. I think there will be a deep story to it as suggested by the trailer and by the book that's coming out. It is the gameplay that will decide how good this game is. It should be fine on every other level. I loved Deus Ex and if they can achieve anything close to the original, we'll be in for a treat.

Saying the game is next-gen is a way of emphasising how impressive the game is. Do you know what emphasis even means? You probably think that when someone describes something as a mile off, you actually believe it is literally a mile off. It is hard to tell the difference between GT5 and real-life from still pictures and the game comes far closer to real-life than any other racing simulator does. Just remember that when your playing Forza 3 in upscaled 720p.
I think it is a credit to PD for spending so much time on the game. This could be the best game ever made and undoubtedly will be the best racing sim to date. I'm looking forward to this game more than any other this year.
I loved KZ2's controls. I hope there is an option to play with them. Anyway, game will be awesome regardless.
Maybe the Japanese just have bad taste? Nah. The 360 sucks!
@sikbeta I couldn't agree more. If SE want to tailor to general Americans or people in the west, they should do it with other franchises such as Hitman, Deus Ex or Tomb Raider. Keep FF and DQ games with traditional turn-based combat systems. That's what those franchises are known for. FF fans want complex fun strategic combat in FF games, not dumbed down gameplay and 10 hour tutorials. With FFXV, make it traditional. Don't bring back random battles but make the combat system as fu...
Ubisoft need to spend more time on the Assassin's Creed games and until they do, the series won't come near GTA in terms of quality. Whether people like GTA IV or not, one has to give Rockstar North credit for the time they put in to their games and how tight their able to keep the lid on their games. We still haven't heard a GTA V announcement and there has been no rumours or leaks about it. We still haven't heard anything about Agent since E3 2009. No leaks and no officially...
I hope you were high when you posted that comment. How has KZ2 bad AI? It has the best AI I've ever seen in an FPS game. The enemies are quick, accurate and break your cover often. Maybe you were playing it on easy mode? The game could have been more open but it wasn't repetitive and it certainly wasn't boring. In fact, it was the exact opposite. It was no more linear than MW or Halo and had far superior multiplayer than any of those franchises. I also liked the controls and the c...
The trouble with Crackdown 2 is that it doesn't do much over the first one. 4 player co-op is probably the only distinctive thing. It just seems like a rushed rehash and with all the great games out now, it doesn't deserve my money.
Why is Tidus from FFX not on this list? Oh wait....
I didn't get the platinum in KZ2 but I beat the campaign on Elite mode. It wasn't too difficult because I had played on the second hardest difficulty beforehand. The last fight against Radec was tough (the whole thing). I remember being happy about getting past the balcony part in the palace on my first playthrough only to be bombarded by six Helghast soldiers with rockets. Helghast = best enemy in an FPS game. Truly unmerciful bad-ass mothafckas.
I loved MGS4 and I want MGS5 badly or some other IP from Kojima that is similar to the MGS style. Rising feels like a step backwards seeing as it is multiplatform but will probably be a great game, though nothing like MGS4. MGS5 PS3 exclusive could still very much happen with a March 2013 release date. Let's live and hope!
Review scores influence my purchase of games but they don't influence my review of that game. For example, I think Super Mario Galaxies 2 is a 10 out of 10. Oh wait...
Sorry for the double post. Accidental.
MGS5 PS3 exclusive. Now that aint mess-up-able.
Are you saying Ubisoft knew he was going to die?
At least one doesn't have to pay to play online, unlike other such services.
Would this sell if he wasn't dead?
Both games are awesome. I personally prefer GTA IV because of the city, atmosphere and cars.
