Why compare to ME2? This is a game with essentially no real gameplay and therefore 9/10 is a brilliant score. This game has to score with story, graphics, lifespan and voice-acting more so than an average game to make up for the lack of gameplay, a.i and challenge. It shows that the developers really achieved a lot with this game under these limitations and in doing so have created an original innovative game that can only be played on PS3. Maybe ME2 is better than this game overall but there...

8.5 is a great score. Mass Effect 1 got 8.5 from gamespot if anyone hadn't noticed and the first Uncharted game only got an 8. This is a must-buy for fans of the first one imo.

GRAW 3 I suspect. Probably a timed exclusive for 360 due out at the year's end. The next Rainbow Six instalment will likely be announced at E3.

The more I hear about the 360 version, the more I wish FFXIII never went multi-platform. The PS3 version will clearly be superior but it would have even been bigger and better if kept exclusive. I care a lot about my xbox live gamerscore but I'm picking this up for PS3. It will look better and there will be no disk changes. Having said that, I wonder if the game can be installed in full on the PS3 hd. I know all three discs can be installed on the 360 hd which would make it run smoother. Some...

I think this game will be a lot of fun. I love murder mystery stories with twists and turns and that's what Heavy Rain is all about. Though, its more an interactive movie than a game. There really is no gameplay besides making choices from a list of given options at certain points in the game. Where will the challenge be? Don't get me wrong, I think this will be a very enjoyable experience and I'm really looking forward to it but not everyone will have the patience to play it like it was desi...

I loved GTA IV but the dlc is just amazing because it offers such value for money. Both dlcs added together are longer than an average full game and will come at half the price of a full game. If you want a more action-packed GTA IV experience, don't miss this dlc. Some of the missions in TBOGT are better than anything the original had to offer and parachuting is a heck of a lot of fun.

What I like about Uncharted is that the enemies tend to break your cover a lot and get up close and personal by flanking. This doesn't happen much in the Gears games. Also, enemies often sidestep a lot in Uncharted and their movements aren't as stiff as those of Gears, making them harder to hit. It's harder to pull off head-shots in Uncharted than it is in Gears which makes the game more challenging. I found Uncharted's hardest difficulty "crushing" to be more challenging than Gears...

@Foxgod
Mass Effect 2 has a lot of choices in it so is that not considered an rpg for rpg purists? I love rpgs, both linear and non-linear, both wrpgs and jrpgs. Although ME was a great game, it was nowhere near as entertaining as Final Fantasy XII and that's nowhere near the best FF game out there. I'm looking forward to playing ME2 but I doubt it will have the depth and lifespan of a FF game. ME's gameplay is not nearly as challenging as an FF game, even on its hardest difficulty. I c...

As good as Infamous was, it didn't receive the critical acclaim that GTA IV did and I prefered GTA personally. For those who think the reviewers were paid off to give GTA a great score, why then does MW2 have not 98% average score when Activision have far more money to spend than Take Two? The user score for both the PS3 version and 360 version on Gamespot is 9.2 and 9.1 respectively. So maybe GTA doesn't deserve what it got but it certainly deserves a 9 or over. Then again, some people on th...

GTAIV was a brilliant game in my opinion. Even if you didn't like it, this dlc is just awesome. It delivers what GTAIV didn't in terms of features and the missions are challenging and fun. I've both dlcs for 360 and I've got more than my value for money from them. This is something PS3 owners should be excited about. There might be extra exclusive dlc for PS3 yet.

Jade Empire 2 could be a possibility. The first one was a great game and a lot of people would like to see another. Though ME and ME2 will probably come to PS3 within the next two years, likely as one game. Now that would be 50 bucks well spent!

I can't see the point in hacking it when 360's are much easier and cheaper to hack. The only gain then is for PS3 exclusives which are huge in size and you would want a big hd to rip them to. Soldering would also be quite difficult for the average folk. Plus, I actually like Sony so I wouldn't personally hack the PS3 anyway. As for M$, I'd hack their heads off if I could!

GTA IV deserved 98% in my opinion. It was an amazing game. The city was so vibrant and felt lived in, the shooting and gameplay was fast paced and fun, the physics and graphics were excellent for a sandbox game, the characters and story were top-notch and the multiplayer was decent with enjoyable co-op missions. People who dish the game just see the lack of features compared with San Andreas rather than give credit to the city, physics, story and to the fact the game is a lot of fun to play....

Simply hacking the dvd drive wouldn't be beneficial due to the size of PS3 games and the price of blank blu-ray discs. Imagine having to download 25gb of data for one game? The only way that hacking the PS3 would be valuable to hackers, would be if homebrew code could be run on it. This would simply allow hackers to rent games and rip them to the PS3 hd and play them from the hd without the game in the drive. Thus, every game would only cost the price of renting it. Given the fact that it is ...

It is not surprising for Heavy Rain to have incredible graphics because there is not a lot of processing going on in the game because there is really no AI or physics going on. Don't get me wrong, its still a great achievement to have a game that looks that good but UC2 and KZ2 are more impressive because of the amount of other things going on at the same time.

ME2 will increase the competitiveness of the 360. In the last year, the PS3 pretty much stole the show with top-drawer exclusives so its good to see a 360 exclusive doing well. This year will be by far the most competitive between both consoles as a good number of AAA exclusives are coming out for both of them and the motion controllers are also due out for both. This year will determine the winner of the console war but the real winner is the gamer with both consoles. Thus, I hereby pronounc...

Beat the first one three times on the hardest difficulties but with the same character who was a vanguard build. I think that's what it was called. I should have experimented more with other characters but I wanted to reach lvl 60. The problem with the first one was that the battles were too simple strategically, the game had a poor frame rate, long loading times, the vehicle handled like crap and a lot of the side planets and quests were quite repetitive and empty. Some of the achievements ...

I know a lot of people may not like GTA4. I probably one of the few that loves it. Anyway, the dlc is very good value and fun and has received high critic ratings. TBOGT addresses some of the problems GTA4 had. For example, the missions are more fun and challenging, the side missions and parachuting are much better than any side missions in the original and the story and characters are also top notch. I think bringing this dlc to the PS3 would be a good idea. Hopefully, the PS3 might get excl...

I like IO Interactive because of the Hitman series. They're a great team for coming up with original ideas for games. However, they're not the best at actually refining gameplay and that's where Hitman suffered over the years. I've never played Kane and Lynch but I'm not surprised it got the reviews it did. It is disgraceful that a guy was fired for giving an honest opinion, especially when his review wasn't skewed from the average. Let's hope IO have learned their lesson and Kane and Lynch 2...

@ilikecookies
Actually it is likely that the game data would have been more than 6.8gb in size if it weren't for the limitations of the 360 dvd9 format. Square said themselves that a lot of content had to be left out of the game. There is no denying that the quality of the game has suffered from being multi-platform due to such limitations. However, I'm not sure if this game will be any good anyway. Square may have gone in the wrong direction with this iteration. Only time will tell. I ...
