The problem is this. If you buy a piece of hardware, you should be allowed to do what you want with it. So I see nothing wrong with people installing this to their PS3s. Sure they shouldn't be allowed to connect to psn and they should only back up their own games, not rents. This mod simply gives people the opportunity to modify the hardware that they possess and paid money for. Not exactly. People can rent games and simply rip them to the hd. The same people will buy used PS3s so Sony won't make much from that and will lose out overall. I'm not saying I want this to be the case but it is the case.

Obviously a firmware update will disable this hack but new hacks will be made and unless Sony changes the code at a very low level, hacks will continue to be made. Most people who apply this hack will buy second ps3s for online play. Thus, whether there is a firmware update or not, this hack will cause Sony problems and cost them money.

Who wants to go to war? Being a soldier is an inferior position to most occupations. Sure it is cool to play as a soldier in a video game but that's about it.
I didn't think the PS3 was that much better than the 360 but it is. PS3 is clear winner and the premium console. The PS3 wins in most of the important categories and the only problem it has is the lack of cross game chat. It just needs a better online service and its the perfect console. BTW if you add motion control as another category, the PS3 wins hands down with Move.
This is a bit unfair. RAGE is open-wold while KZ3 is linear. RAGE looks awesome for an open-world game. I hope it plays as well as it looks. KZ3 will be awesome no doubt.
I loved GW. I remember playing it endlessly in Summer 2005 and it was the best money I've ver spent. I think GW2 is the MMO to get. If its as good as GW was when it released, I'll be very happy.
Who cares about small stupid insignificant differences between console versions. One can't notice them unless they really try to. Oh there isn't grass here or a shadow there. Who gives a flying fck? The only thing that kept me playing FFXIII was the hunt missions because they're actually challenging if you want to five star them. Square need to keep Versus exclusive to PS3 and make it one hell of game. Their reputation has been damaged. Not just because they went multiplatform with XIII but because XIII did not live up to other games in the series and they haven't brought out any brilliant games this gen.
