KOTOR is the only good Stars Wars game if the truth be known and you know it!
So much hate for Patcher on this site. Cut the guy some slack, as you Americans say. After all, he predicted GTA V would be announced at E3. Oh wait...
Wow. Then again it is GOW. What GOW game hasn't been critically well received?
Europe is more cultured than the other two markets. We are big into Western and Eastern styled games. Americans tend to be mechanical minded, not abstract minded so many if not most American gamers don't find jrpgs intriguing. Though this game is a shooter and I would put poor sales down to marketing, the game's short lifespan and the fact its a new IP.
Disappointment? Seriously? The only good Star Wars games are Battlefront and KOTOR. So why did anyone have high hopes for this when the first one was average and it developed by the same team?

I disagree. It was the best game this gen imo and a great looking game considering it is a sandbox game. There is a lot of subtle depth to the game. Some people just don't have the depth or intellect to appreciate it. So I suppose they have to try to please the masses.

Maybe you should accept other people's opinions. A lot of people don't like CoD and I'm not a big fan of it myself. Since 4, it has been going down hill year on year, unlike Fifa which is on the rise. I don't find the multiplayer particulary entertaining. Not enough team work and too much glitching. Also, Treyarch don't have a great record. Maybe they can change that this time round.
Obsidian made New Vegas so Bethesda has only made one Fallout. What game do you think they have been developing since Fallout 3 released? I'll give you a hint. It begins with an "E" and ends with a "V"! Maybe an Elder Scrolls mmo was/is in production but I honestly doubt that there won't be another traditional Elder Scrolls game. I think Elder Scrolls V is a single player game due out next year. Its Bethesda's baby franchise. They're not just going to aband...
With their experience with the PS3, I doubt it would play better on 360. They're a company after all and they're constantly trying to increase shareholder returns. Its not like the PS2 days where the PS2 dominated the market and there was no reason to go multiplatform. So from a business point of view, it is the right choice. From a PS3 gamer's point of view, it means a new IP that could be better if PS3 exclusive. Though there are simply not enough PS3 owners unfortunately.
Reach is a great game imo but nowhere near the best game of 2010. Mass Effect 2, Heavy Rain, God of War 3 and RDR own it. Just goes to show how dumb Americans really are, not that further proof was needed.
This game is meant to be played multiple times though and plus, who plays games on normal? Retards? Play the game on the hardest difficulty and then see how long it takes!
I hear that Valve offer such a great deals on Steam that it works out cheaper in the end to buy pc games.

Because visuals are the most important thing? Like hell they are! Having said that, Insomniac have never had a game as good as Uncharted 2 so I wouldn't consider them to be better than ND at handling the PS3.
Obsidian have confirmed that the reward for completing the game with Hardcore Mode on is in fact a new Justin Bieber song. What more motivation could we possibly want?
OMG how many exclusives does the PS3 have lol? The PS3 will own 2011. Even if I had the money to buy all those games, I would never have the time to play them all. I doubt Uncharted 3 will come in 2011 because it is too crammed with other PS3 exclusives. The biggest problem with the PS3 is that it has too many good games. I want to play them all but I can't. I'm going to get Ico/Shadow of the Colossus collection along with the Last Guardian and then play the three games in order. But ...
The Move controller fits the lightsaber perfectly. Maybe the Force Unleashed 2 will have Move support or there will be a Stars Wars game dedicated to Move.
Any consoles sucks without a HD nowadays. A 360 Slim isn't worth it imo if you don't get a 120gb drive with it at least.
It all accumulates and provides fun in many different ways. The gameplay is brilliant, from the cool physics to the fluid shooting. I enjoyed the story but to each his own.
