Achievements and trophies are just useful to show what a person has done. They're not really achievements. Any idiot can earn achievements or trophies. I love games but I don't fell hugely happy about beating a game on its hardest difficulty because anyone can do it. If you want to achieve, write a game instead of playing nne. Instead of playing someone else's code, write your own! Then you will have achieved something.
What's the news here? PSN was always going to be disabled for jailbreak users. Using jailbreak will still be very economical for some people. Most games have most of their value offline. Online gaming sucks in comparison to offline gaming. Second hand PS3s are not expensive to buy. I'm not saying using jailbreak is a good thing but many will find it worth the hassle.

Just name a 360 game that looks as good as Uncharted 2? The PS3 is a more complex architecture than the 360 and the Cell is a much more powerful chip than the 360's. Multi developers just don't utilise the Cell's power properly because the 360 holds them back. Simple as that.

PS3 doesn't play PS2 games as well as PS2 and 60gb covers only about 90% of the games. Plus they can't be played from the HD so Jailbreak wins there I'm afraid. Also, most people don't have 60gb PS3s. There are more people in the world besides you.
People who have gotten jailbreak already can still profit from it because they can easily buy a cheap pre-owned PS3 for online play. Sure they won't be able to play the free games they get online but most games have most of their value offline. Example: Infamous, God of War 3, GT5, Demon Souls etc...

This game is exclusive meaning Rockstar North will take full advantage of the PS3 Cell processor, blu ray capacity and mandatory hd install. Mark my words. This game will be awesome. Just like GTA 3 wiped out the PS2's competition, this will wipe out the PS3's.
This game can't go multiplatform. Rockstar North would have done it multiplatform if it was possible. They want to start off a new franchise with a bang and therefore need to utilise the capabilities of the PS3. They said that themselves. The 360 wouldn't be able to run this game.
PS3 owners love rpgs which is a good thing because rpgs imo are the best games but FFXIII didn't live up to other games in the series. Having said that, I still beat it and enjoyed it. On PS3 of course. Wasn't going to buy the washed down 360 version.
Forget COD, MOH and Halo Reach, this is the only FPS you will need. The only problem with this game is that you have to wait another six months to play it.

BO should have levels in multiplayer only attainable by winning matches, not by gaining experience. Anyone can get experience, no matter how good or bad they are. So they should have two systems of multiplayer progression for the player. One for experience and one for levels for each individual ranked game mode. They should also have two modes. Shadow of the Colossus came out in 2005. Five years ago for those of you who can't count. The Last Guardian has probably been in development for all that time. What does that mean? That means awesome because Team Ico have huge talent and if you give a talented team 5-6 years to develop a game, it will likely be very worth the wait. Sony are not like M$. I beat MGS4 four times. The game is awesome but with so many other games to play, I won't be replaying it any time soon. Therefore, if the trophies require you to play the game many times again, I won't be that interested but they would be great for people who haven't played it yet. Then again, what PS3 owners haven't played MGS4? Those without a brain probably.
Who cares. There are so many enemies on screen at once with so much action that it is understandable. This game will be awesome regardless. I hope the PS3 version is 720p. Pretty damn impressive if it is. Then again, this is only the demo so the final game might be in Hd.
SR2 better than GTA 4 with its average 8/10 rating. GTFO! GTA IV imo is the best game this gen. Yes I said it. I've enjoyed no game more this gen than GTA IV. Hence its 10/10 on Gamespot.
