I know of the PS3 architecture. It's not a bad design, but is still not superior to the 360.
Why don't you look at the game pachaging. I have Lost Planet in my hand, and it clearly states 1080P.

The 360 version looked fatastic for being a quickly upgraded xbox1 game. At least Ubisoft took more time to upgrade the 360 games than they did for the Wii. Their Wii line-up is pathetic.

And DJ, Oyur pretty pictures prove nothing, except how stupid the PS3 design is. You're telling me if the 7800GT (RSX) wants to write data to system memory it has to send it through the already bottlenecked CELL? Not to mention this is a very ouotdated diagram (still has 2 video outs)and probable generous.

Using HD as ram is crap. Look what it does to a PC when this happens. everyhting slows down...not good for game playing.
360 has 512 MB GDDR3 SYSTEM memory. Similar to a PC, it can be used any way the devloper wishes. While the PS3 does have faster CPU memory, splitting the 2 was a bad idea. The XDR ram does make up for the CELLs shortcomings.

Contrary to what your PS3 brochure reads, the 12X DVD drive in the 360 has sustained data transfer sppeds double that of the PS3's drive.

The same thing happened when the PSP came out. Only a handful of crappy games to play so they purchased UMD's to pass the time. UMD still failed, and Blu-Ray will as well.
