they were saying for some reason that and the Tony Hawk demo for some reason weren't showing in some places. They weren't 2 hours ago but now both are up on mine.
yeah, it's 19.99 now. But when i got my PSP originally i paid the full 39.99 for it.
I'll give the ps3 more thought into next year when some more impressive games come out (at launch only one to me is Resistence, everything else is either not interesting to me or ports). I'd bite when some really good and mindblowing stuff comes out eventually and when it drops just a little bit, might be sooner IF bluray takes off (i still think both formats will bomb).
yeah, hopefully they lay off the crappy story aspects. American Wasteland was laughable, "those guys stole my stuff, i'll show them by out skating them"
oh man, i loved Postal 2. It was really brutal. To the point where i could knock someones head off with a shovel, then kick it around and sometimes dogs woudl play fetch with the severed head. also you could use a gasoline can spread it around and throw the match and light everything on fire. PLUS! you could KILL GARY COLEMAN!
yeah, i didn't care much for the demo. It's weird though that my work didn't get it in for any system.
i think the thing they really need to crackdown are the fake ones. Like last year all the stories of people listing a "360" but hidden deep within all the crap and specs they post, the part saying it is just the box or a picture of the system.
i agree with you on that. but sometimes the greed bites the people in the butt. last year i read a news story about a group of young guys who camped out when Best Buy got their 2nd shipment of 360s in and they bought on a pop and tried to sell them at a hundred dollar markup to people in line. no one bought them, so they went across the street to mcdonalds to have breakfast and left the youngest guy in the van to watch the systems.

gotta agree with boink. Both formats are not going to make it. Maybe if the mass market had already embraced and owned HDTVs in a majority of homes, either might have a shot.

why bother wasting money on 2 formats that are not going to go anywhere? I wouldn't want to be stuck with Laserdisc 2.0

yeah, i still get people asking about N64 and PS1 stuff. I had some old lady last winter get angry with me when I told her we do not carry anything for the N64 and could not understand that they havne't made new stuff for it in years. and don't get me started on times when people ask for even older stuff
Lately all the people i've had buy ps2's from my work fall into 2 categories. They are either replacing a broken ps2 (sometimes for more than the 2nd time) or finally getting one because it's cheap. for those people, I do suggest the PS2, just because it will be around for longer than the cube or xbox (we dont' even sell original xbox's anymore)

the crappy thing about this deal is that any games on clearence below 20 bucks are not part of the deal. It's 19.99 or 19.95 games only.
aren't they coming out with a packin with GRAW and Arcade Unplugged next month? Like said before, PS3's are going to be in so few numbers this fall, no need to bother with a price cut until 07
From reaction of customers from when they ask how much the PS3 is going to cost, i'd say they are going to be losing their Audience more
i don't know if it was just a problem with the video, but the PS3 controls didn't seem as responsive. There seemed to be a slight delay.
